First off, i'll start with my opinion: this is a comical idea, because airforce (from my experience) barely get tattoos. So most of the customers will be dependents or retired.
Onto my review: the receptionists at the time i got my tattoo, were just that, not tattoo artists or apprentices. So i had to wait a day or two for the artist to be available to come in and talk with me about what i wanted to get done. Also, i guess the 3 or 4 employed artists weren't well rounded, and only 1 "specialized" do the style that i wanted.
After booking an appointment and all that, it wasn't until the artist was about to put the needle to skin that i finally was like "how much is the actual price". She wouldn't say the set price and was vague the entire time during the scheduling and all the way up until i had to directly ask, before she could rip me off and charge me $1000 for a 500 hundred dollar tattoo. The end product was not what i expected, and definitely not worth $500. It seemed as if she held back on details, and did the bare minimum, because i didn't let her do whatever she wanted with my skin and my tattoo idea, like she was on ink masters or something.
Will not being going back again, i'd rather drive a little further to go to studio 21 or other normal/reputable shops downtown.
My recommendation: only go here if you want a quote or a simple drawing, like a smiley face. Anything more complicated deserves a more experienced artist than the one I went to.

I've had 3 done, the eagle and the purple heart were done by Brad he's an amazing artist, and the price was more than fair. These were done recently. The 2nd was done a little over a year ago by an artist who's not there anymore but did an amazing job. I'd recommend this shop and have to everyone.
ATS NEEDS to upgrade their chairs. They're way past their prime. Take a look at the picture. If it gets fixed, I'll gladly edit this.

American Tattoo Society on Nellis is now my favorite tattoo shop.
Brad Winchester is my go to guy, he's done 4 awesome tatts for me that I absolutely love.
Go see them for some amazing tattoo work !

Amazing staff!! Brad, Nemo, and Olivia are all very helpful and take pride in all they do. I don't live here but if I did I would come back.
I was here in town last year and got a tattoo from Brad. He listened to what I wanted and did an amazing job. Unfortunately my tattoo needed a little touch up. Olivia helped find a time that worked with my schedule since I am here on business and Nemo touched up my tattoo and helped fix a few things I had concerns about. I'm very pleased.

So, I went off the deep end today. lol I was crazy apprehensive about getting a tattoo. Not because of the possibility of pain etc. but because like who gets tattoos at a spot on base, right?! BEST FREAKING DECISION WHILE ATTENDING TRAINING AT NELLIS!
Nemo was super hospitable, very professional and patient too. I love his attention to detail. My friend and I both hot tattoos today and LOVE THEM!

I had THE best experience with Brad at American Tattoo Society!! I walked in a little nervous because what I wanted was on the trendy side of tattoos and the last time I got a trendy tattoo is NOLA I felt SOOO judged but Brad never gave me that feeling. He was so easy going and easy to talk to. I will be definitely recommending him and going back to add more.

This was my first tattoo and I was a little nervous going into it, but the staff was very accommodating and upbeat through the whole thing; offering me breaks, water, candy etc. Overall, a very satisfactory experience for my sister and I. A big thank you to Liv and Sonny!

I was visiting my sister is Vegas and wanted to get a sister-sister tattoo with her. This would be her very first and I wanted it to be a good experience. I can't tell you how happy I was to have chosen American Tattoo Society. They were very welcoming and worked with us on the design we wanted. From the moment we walked in the door to the time we left we felt comfortable, at ease and greatly enjoyed the experience. The shop was clean and everyone was well educated. Liv was very attentive to any needs we may have had and offered water and sweets. Sonny did an excellent job on our tattoos. Thank you American Tattoo Society!

Had a AMAZING experience today when getting my tattoo with Liv at the front checking on me to make sure I was good or if I needed anything and Fernando the tattoo artist he did an amazing job and very friendly! Highly recommend getting a tattoo here, they are seriously the best!!

Had an amazing experience. The vibe was welcoming and the shop was super clean. Vanessa was incredibly nice, making sure I was comfortable and helpful. Fernando is a true artist his work exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a good tattoo shop.
