I have always had a great shopping experience at the Nellis Commissary. The Commissary usually has what I need at great prices.

First and foremost lets talk about the self checkout being reduced to 25 items or less.
This is an accessibility issue and you've eliminated a crucial space for disabled folks. Not all disabilities are physical. Autistic people with socializing aversions need this space.
WHY are we always left out of these decisions? Always. I will not stop saying something until this is changed.
There's a rumor that the commander had it changed because he didn't like waiting.
If this is true, while not surprising... sir... who do you think you are? And if it's a rumor... who do the rumor starters think they are? I JUST WANT MY ACCESSIBLE SPACE BACK.
Give the autistic community back their accessibility space or I'm gonna start complaining to people who you definitely don't want me complaining to.
Make a special little line for whoever the little commander is so he can have his special little space or something. Don't take away from disabled people.
Now, onto other things:
Stuff is constantly out of date and still put on shelves. The "vegan" cooler looks like it's never cleaned. Ever. Literally ever. It's so gross. I don't even wanna touch it half the time.
Like shopping at Aldi, you never know what's gonna be in stock, or gone forever the next time you go.
Another frustrating issue, which warrants the 1 star, is that they keep getting RID of all of the vegan stuff. I have a ton of food allergies. So this is forcing me to now to out and shop elsewhere, costing me MORE money.
They had a ton of options for milk alternatives when we moved here, now there's very few and it's mostly almond. They got rid of all the good oat milk options.

Don't get the fresh veggies if you don't plan on using them right away. They go bad pretty quickly. One day, I was there in the produce section, and ALL of the lettuce was wilted! They've really gone down in the produce section.

Large selection of fresh produce, international pantry items, and self-checkout is available. It has everything regular grocery stores have with comparable prices; however, the fresh produce seems to mold and spoil faster than normal.

If you are active duty or retiree, spouses, you can use this facility. This facility is too small for this area. Also, many times very little fruit or bad fruit. Veggies , meats are maintained, lunch meat is average. This is an average commissary.

Course in the last few years since Covid the prices have like doubled like most any kind of restaurant. But they have less traffic in they used to but the food is always fresh it's nice and warm and tasty. The dining room is always nice and clean. And there is a average city view out the picture windows. And it's a quiet place to have a snack or lunch

Saved $87.
Well stocked shelves except for the ice cream freezers; but it is that time of year.
Rest rooms could use a tending and understand it is a high traffic area.
We appreciate having the facility stocked with such a huge variety of products.
We live 25 miles away and usually shop quarterly. We'll be back.
