I'm no taco aficionado, but the tacos at Tacos El Gordo are the best in town. This store is the newest and most prominent of the growing chain. It's clean and has easy access on the positive side. The negatives are the cost of the tacos, which are expensive at $3.85 and up, and the need for more English spoken by the cooks behind the huge ordering counter. If you can figure out what is what and deal with the sometimes rude counter personnel, you will be satisfied with El Gordo tacos. If you're a first-timer to any Tacos El Gordo, I recommend you bring someone who knows the ins and outs so that you can learn how things get done at all Tacos El Gordo.

Bad service, food is messy, call in put on hold then hang up un·pro·fes·sion·al never come back here again! Please train well your worker! Make sure check your foods before you leave the restaurant. I ask to make sure everything in the bag before I leave the restaurant. The ladies from drive thru said " EVERYTHING IS IN THERE". Came home nothing in there. They told me to come back, no one have time for that. You pay for my gas & time? Just check don't listen what they said.....

This location is always on point with service! I love getting the campechana fries super yummy and the tacos are good too. They always tend to be busy especially at night but it's a nice spot to get something quick and on a late night when other places close. They have outdoor seating for when it gets too packed and drive thru for convenience. Overall super chill spot but can become loud when crowded.

Came in at the recommendation of a friend and it didn't disappoint. I totally recommend the lengua, it was sooo tender. We only got tacos so can only comment on that. Some may say it's pricey as it's $4/$5 for one taco.

So glad Tacos El Gordo expanded - went to two additional locations in Vegas and was pleased with consistency I got years ago when I first tried it. The separate lines to order different protein and items is a huge plus. I usually get a few tacos and carne asada fries. Thee best! My favorite tacos is the pork tacos! I can easily slam 4 of those. The customer service is always quick and friendly. Do yourself a favor and visit any Tacos El Gordo location! I can only hope they expand to the East Coast in the DMV area!

Always five stars for Tacos El Gordo! We stopped in from Arizona headed to Sacramento. They had to be some of the best tacos ever. Every time we stop in San Diego or Las Vegas we are sure to stop at Tacos El Gordo. There was plenty of room for inside seating as well. The cooks were super friendly, and the service overall were fast.

Tacos El Gordo is a very casual restaurant that serves Tijuana Style tacos. All the tacos are some sort of beef (eye balls, guts, brains, tongue, head meat, etc.) or pork on what seems like hand made tortillas. They have four locations in Las Vegas. Ordering is very confusing at the North Las Vegas location. Depending on what kind of taco you are getting you have to ask for it at FOUR different windows. Then you pay and get your beverage at another window. Then you seat yourself. We tried a variety of tacos. Between us we tried the asada, cabeza, chorizo tacos and got the complimentary fried onions and jalapeno. Today we thought some tacos were better than other tacos. The best two might have been the chorizo and the cabeza. The chorizo had the most flavor and the cabeza had a tasty sauce on it. We BOTH thought the worst one was the asada. Today the asada had very little flavor and was chewy and had hard gristle in it making it very unpleasant to eat.Prices are low and the tacos get packed with lots of meat.

I haven't eaten here in a long time and it's going to be a long time before I return. The food is ok but the prices are outrageous. 4 small tacos for 15 dollars? You guys need to lay off the weed. If I were in Tijuana these would have been less than a dollar apiece. The pork was good the carne asada was dry. I have eaten great Mexican food from California to Baja throughout my life and I can say without hesitation that this food is of poor value. Also, when I left I felt a bit sick to my stomach, something in the food was unsettling, thankfully the feeling went away but that is also indicative of poor quality or unsanitary conditions. I have always thought this place was overhyped, but now I realize it's not just overhyped but overpriced as well.

Waited almost an entire hour in the drive through, not many cars. Was very specific and clear with my order so there would be no confusion. Got to pay and reconfirm my order, and the girl had no clue what was on my receipt. Get back to my job, and the side of veggies were not in the bag as requested, but instead i got someone else's ICE COLD FOOD instead. Couldn't go back, lunch time over. Their customer service has been declining, and each time i try to talk to someone i get an attitude or they just dont answer their phone. I do not recommend it.

Every time I visit Vegas, I make a stop here mandatory, no exceptions. Their most popular offering is their pork taco and I must say I agree. It is delicious. Unfortunately, it also means that it has the longest line to order. I also never fail to get a cup of orange bang for my drink. This whipped beverage is like an orange creamsicle in drink form. One of my favorite drinks of all time. Never had any issue finding a place to sit as there are ample seats and tables.

This place is absolutely terribly run. I have gone there on three separate occasions in the last two and a half weeks only to have them out of their biggest seller, the adobada tacos. This is literally the biggest seller in the place and they can't seem to keep it there to sell. Another time I went there and they have a fresh slab of adobada on the vertical broiler and instead they direct me to a guy who is pulling old precut meat out of a bowl to make my tacos. I told the guy hey I prefer the freshly cut meat and he just ignored me, so I waited until he was done making the order and I turned around and walked out. Overall I just decided I'm never coming back to this location again, it takes me 15 minutes just to get there and for them to be so unreliable about keeping their best sellers ready to be sold I just can't be bothered to waste my time again. From this point forward I'll go to places like Pepe's or Roberto's, this company seems to forget that there are a million taco places in Las Vegas and they are just one and easily avoided. I also called their number that's listed on their wall if you had a bad experience and it was a complete waste of time. The person on the other end of the phone could barely understand what I was saying and really left me more annoyed than I was before I called.

This is definitely my last time i spend my money on tacos el gordo. 2nd time they charge my for salsa. Like really! Ask for 3 and she said she will need to charge. Smaller local taco stands always says take as many salsasyou need.
