The cashier was very rude. She also violated my ADA rights. I carry life-saving medicine in a backpack purse, and she told me I could not carry purse with me because it was shaped like a backpack. That is also illegal as it is discrimination. There are no plans to return.

When I only need a few items it's great that Family Dollar is only a short 5 minute walk from my apartment. Yesterday while I was there they had a good $5 sale on some canned food (as long as you bought 5 cans.) On the endcap, I only saw 4 of the flavors I like. Then, I noticed an employee on a ladder busily restocking the higher shelves. (I later learned his name was Peter.) Anyhow, Peter saw me and stopped working, stepped down off the ladder and after I told him what I needed he promptly showed me the regular shelf containing more of the flavor I liked. I really appreciate the courteous & fast customer service that Peter gave me so I could get the sale.

Firstly, I had asked to use the restroom and as it seems to look as they have public restrooms they told me they don’t. That was the first thing. I had lost something in the store and went back-and-forth in and out a couple times to find what I was looking for. I didn’t steal a thing and when I came back to actually purchased the things I wanted to purchase An employee informed me or asked me to leave the store. I was upset because I had done nothing wrong and asked to speak to the manager, and I got shut down. There was no communication. Very disappointing experience.

I Personally don’t believe service should be provided based on the employees ability to get the proper rest before work we walked in to two tired low grade energy employees with a goal to be done for the night so literally nobody got Family Dollars Service last night 2h before closing or DID THEY .. she didn’t want to go through the process of uploading my card so she just flat out told me they don’t upload cash app their system this that you have to use barcode I pull out barcode she says no.. this is your manager! and the employee she was with was just as emo, melancholy unhelpful and short with customer’s ..their main focus was to GO HOME and dismissed multiple customers because it to the point I had to leave a comment the service was trash and the manager should do better or take a vitamin B supplement.

I just opened an acct with Providers and you can deposit cash at Family Dollar. They didn’t have an ATM so I asked clerk how k could deposit cash. They were really busy. She kindly said she wasn’t sure abd asked that i get in line. I wasn’t sure if I was in wrong store. She asked her boss and told me yes they could do while I was in line. Very kind and considerate of my time. Great staff! Thank you
