It's 7am on a Saturday morning and this company is moving a massive container right outside our home for a neighbor. Sounds like they're drilling directly inside your brain. Called PODS because I thought to myself that there's absolutely no way this could be allowed or legal but a call center agent verified that their company policy states they begin moves as early as 7am. They think it's ok to make this much noise in a residential neighborhood and don't care one bit if it's an issue for anyone as long as they do what's needed. The noise level? The ground is literally vibrating from their huge equipment and they are now going on 28 magical minutes of intense hammering noise. Who knows how much longer they'll be here for. Even though it's not inside our home it sure sounds like it. Whoever runs this company should be fired for allowing their employees to begin these incredibly loud moves at 7am on any day, let alone a weekend.

they need some over word than Poor, that does not start to describe the devastation I have gone thru because of Pods! I moved less than 50 miles, my total bill is $3,594. & a few cents! The people u call don't know what the hell the prices r, or they r not giving u the price or explanation as to your charges & they got your card & they just keep putting shit on there & u have no right to know why you r being charged! I was charged $53.50 cause they said it wasn't on concrete but it was, have they not heard of Goggle!?! I'm telling everyone I meet don't use pods, even their employees said they would not use pods! I'm retired, I'm 74 yrs old & I will need to go out & get another job to pay this outrageous bill! good thing it's Xmas maybe I can b a door greeter or wrap packages, cause for sure pods does not give a rats ass about their customers! They also charged me $100. more to pick up these pods too!

Good lord have mercy. Is a NEGATIVE 5 rating possible? Impossibility long hold times, failed commitments, endless excuses, complete failure to listen and comply - this company is a complete disaster. A cluster foxtrot of monumental proportions. AND notice that they post a canned response to negative reviews on YELP that encourages you to contact them with your concerns. But when you do, they completely ignore your response and never respond!!Honestly, the only 2 things they do well is put you on hold (see photos) and apologise. They are champions of apologizing (I guess they have to do it a lot) but truly pathetic at anything else.There are other choices in moving companies available. Use ANYONE BUT PODS. Consider yourself warned.

I wish I could give them a ZERO STAR RATING. I used them to move from Reno to vegas because it seemed like the most stress free option even tho it was much more expensive than other moving services. It has actually been the most horrific experience. They rescheduled my delivery 3 times with no explanation. The customer services can not get in contact with the facility and there is no communication between them to help me. They have refused to dispute any fees as they don't see anything wrong. I finally got it delivered the 28th and was charged additional fees for having the pod over a month. But had it been delivered on the 13th of October like it was supposed to be, I wouldn't be paying for an extra billing cycle for their mistake. All though they probably rescheduled that way on purpose for an extra month of fees. Do not EVER use this company it's not worth the stress, the lack of communication, no understanding from the company that I have not had furniture for a month because of their mistake and now that it was finally delivered the door is jammed shut and I have to pay them MORE for someone to come out and get it open. Completely disappointed and would never recommend this place to a soul.

I loved using PODS. We moved from Hawaii to Las Vegas, and I'm so glad we used PODS instead of a shipping container. First of all, the container sits low to the ground, so it was so much easier loading all of our stuff inside. The deliveries were on time and convenient. The placement of the container was perfect at both locations, and the price was actually cheaper than all of the other quotes I received. I wish they made a slightly bigger container, but the 16' container actually fit our 3-bedroom house plus some outdoor furniture and even our kayak! We had it stacked all the way to the top. Also, the construction of the container is nicer than a simply steel shipping container. I'll definitely use them again for a big move!

People be pre-paired it is not easy to get your pod returned to you. I am beyond frustrated. They have no problem charging your card for the months that they have your pod. But getting your pod back is over a 3 week wait time. I think that is why they have the delivery out so far, so they get more month's rent. Was passed around on the phone and never got anywhere nor did anyone return calls like they said they would. This company is a scam. They are the worst. Poor customer service ever. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

The below is a cut and paste from the email I sent PODS on 09/13/2023. Hello,I am very upset with PODS. I got into a contract for two 16 ft PODS In June 2022. I needed to move my belongings to Fort Mohave AZ 86426. I was having a house built there and my PODS were to go to storage. One POD made it to Las Vegas and the second was only moved there because of a call I place to confirm what the turnaround for delivery to my new house would be. I was told 7 days but that one pod was still in Perris California and that they needed to be together in order to deliver them to Fort Mohave AZ. So after paying $1564.00 the second POD joined the first one in Vegas. My house closed on Aug. 30, 2023 and I called to make arrangements to have the PODS delivered. I was told that they were booked up and they could not be delivered until Sept. 14th and that I would not be charged for another month because of the delay. On Sept. 12, 2023 I received a confirmation email about the delivery date of the 14th. On the evening of Sept. 13th yesterday I received and email and phone message at 5:30p.m. telling me that the PODS would not be delivered! WHAT? The warehouse does not deliver to my area. Please keep in mind Fort Mohave is 100 miles and about an hour and a half from Vegas. That the final destination was not cleared through the warehouse. REALLY! I was told I would need to bring my own truck and go to Vegas offload the PODS and take to my house myself. Its been 14 months that you have had the PODS and over $13,000.00 for delivery and storage fees. I am 65 years old and have made arrangement with family and friends some from out of state to assist me with emptying the PODS in my driveway. How can this be done to my two days before delivery? From day one you all knew about the end address of Fort Mohave AZ 86426. I could have gone with different company that would have followed through with the contract. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I am hoping that there can be an exception to have my PODS delivered to my current address. 6093 S Sutter Ave. Fort Mohave AZ. I don't want to have to take further action.*******Update...... This morning (the day that the PODS were supposed to be delivered) PODS charged my cc another $647.95. Who does this! Still no resolution to this issue.

Slimy company who doesn’t honor their word. They let you keep your things for a month in the storage facility if you want. So I kept it there for a month and then they rebilled me for a full month. I talked to an agent who told me if I get my belongings out of the POD three days after the new billing cycle I would get all of my credit back. And if I get it out before a week, I would get half. So I get my things out before a week and expect to get half my credit back. Not only did I NOT get any of it back, I had to call them and report it. And then I get a message from Lyle Wood stating that he has heard all of the phone calls and review the files and there is no way I’m getting a penny back of that extra month I paid for. I feel cheated and my time wasted by this company. I would think twice before using them EVER.

PODS Portland Maine has the best driver around! Nick was incredibly helpful and answered all of my questions with a great attitude. Happy to have him as a part of the stressful moving process. Highly recommend moving PODS for ease and convenience.

If I could give below 1 star I would. I called fir a simple quote, a month and a half later I have a Pod in my driveway and a Pod in front of my house. After continuous calls for them to pick them up they finally picked up the one in front of my house the same day. As for the Pod in my driveway it took them 13 days to pick it up. Needless to say I could not get 1 of my cars out of the garage, could not use my own driveway to park nor could I use it for the Garagee sale I had scheduled prior to my move, also if I were ready to move at that time I wouldn't have been able to park a moving truck in my driveway to load it. I've asked for some sort of compensation for my troubles and have been told multiple times its under review. In my opinion I would not ever use PoDs services.

Easy to set up service. Adjustments were made by me for initial drop off and pick up. There were no issues with the point to point service. Dates for pick up/ delivery were met precisely.

I've never been so frustrated with a company. After being told that they ship all over, I temporarily moved from Oregon to Vegas where we stayed with our son while house hunting. We decided on Kingman,AZ but they don't deliver the pods there. So I had to rent a Uhaul truck and repack everything I own. I made an appointment at 8am when they opened as it was going to be over 110f. I wanted it done as early as possible. They didn't input my appointment into the computer. We waited a half hour for the first Pod. We unloaded that and then waited an additional 40 minutes for another pod. By this point it was well over 100f. After texting the office manager twice, they finally brought out my remaining two pods. This was Las Vegas in the summer. I should have used Uhaul to store my belongings. I will never use or recommend this company.

Pods did not deliver to our new house per our contract. After 4 days past our contract due to no response after numerous phone calls to customer service and hours waiting on hold each time, we hired an outside moving company. Pods customer service is the worst I have encountered in my entire life.

Drop off was fine. Pick up, driver was no show. Called and they said he didn't have the gate code to the community and left. (Driver who dropped it off had the code on file) No help and reschedule for 3 days later... DO NOT use PODS if you have a schedule, they cant be trusted and offer no help or solutions.

In short, they do not do what they promise to do.Long story: I signed a contract that had the prices of the monthly rental, pickup and delivery fee. When it came time to deliver the pod to our new address, they charged us different amounts than what my contract said. When I called, I was told corporate would reach out and they never did. Also, we moved from Texas to Vegas. Part of the appeal of pod was that they deliver to your house and then redeliver to your new house. They also say you have access to the pod as if it was a storage unit. We were told they would move the pod to the Vegas area and when we finally got into our new home, it could be delivered within 2-3 days. Well, turns out, they never moved the pod out of Texas and it took 2 weeks to deliver it to our new home. In that time, they decided to charge me the monthly rental fee even though it wasn't my fault the pod never left Texas. Again, corporate was supposed to reach out and never did. I will never recommend this company or use them again. Their containers have no where to latch straps and you have to buy their $50 lock. U-Haul and storage units are cheaper and more reliable.
