The quote and initial process was seamless and a great experience. Angelica and Brian were great. I’ve been dealing with Kim post delivery and have requested now for a third time for a manager to contact me back regarding items that were lost upon delivery. My inventory sheet was not properly completed at pickup by staff, and items were not properly checked in and out at the warehouse - as I took advantage of their storage included in the move. The only notations on the inventory list were the ones I checked off myself at pickup and delivery. Nothing verifies my items were QCd after they left my custody. I was told at pickup they’d be checked in and out on the inventory sheet each time they were moved. The inventory sheet verifies this was not done. I completed the inventory sheet myself (as requested by the movers)This is unacceptable - especially given the fact Sky Van Lines was paid nearly $3000 for a cross country move. Be sure if you go with this company, you carry your own insurance and write down everything that is told to you, and validate your items are properly stickered and on the inventory sheet. Customer service has been lacking and evasive attempting to verify what happened to 2 items that are missing. God forbid you have sentimental items and nobody seems to be able to account for where your items went. Albeit none of my items were damaged, and that is one good thing, I still paid for the items that seemingly vanished into thin air. Attempted to give them time to contact me and have a phone call prior to writing this review - over two weeks to no avail. My main purpose is to give feedback to them on my experience to avoid this happening with other customers. Irrespective if they’re “investigating” this or not, it seems reasonable to call a customer regarding this type of issue. I’d see what other movers are available in the Valley before giving this company your hard earned money in this economy!

These guys did an amazing job! I highly recommend because of their professionalism and quality of work. They were friendly from the very start and took such great care of our belongings. I couldn't ask for a better moving experience.

Do NOT use this company!!! This company was not the cheapest company we could find, however we decided to pay more for the reassurance they gave us - they stated they did not hire out third-party contractors to complete the moving process and they spoke of the pride they took in caring for our belongings throughout the moving process. 1) when our belongings arrived at our new location, the truck driver arrived alone and then "called a friend" to help him unload the truck into the new house - this "friend" was not an employee of the company we hired for the service and therefore we had no way of verifying our safety or his qualifications. The "friend" was paid cash by the driver in front of me. The belongings also arrived different than when I packed them -after my belonging left my residence, sometime during the process, the company wrapped many items with sticky brown tape that was unable to be completely cleaned off and therefore devalued and almost ruined my items. They did not ask for permission to use the brown sticky tape nor did they ever mention the necessity to use it during their interview. Additionally, my leather couch arrived with white paint on it which strengthens the proof of lack of care and attention to detail provided during the moving process; at no point should my couch have been near white paint. 2) Upon arriving at the new location, when unloading our belongings, the "movers" carelessly threw our boxes around breaking many fragile valuables - most of which were sentimental in value (please refer to Christmas box pictures). The sentimental boxes were packed and wrapped with great care by me yet when they arrived, they were unwrapped, open, and spilling out items. *The company's insurance policy is pointless for claims and the value of sentimental items is unmeasurable not to mention that there is no way to compensate for the unprofessionalism, stress, etc that was added due to the horrible experience. 3) The service in general was unprofessional and discourteous - moving is hard and stressful as it is - i did not need men who were unhappy with their job cussing in front of me and taking their frustration out on me. 4) part of the service they offered was to unwrap large items and put furniture back together. The truck driver (who doubled as a "mover") was unqualified and did not know how to put together my refrigerator as proven by his decision to use a mallet on open wiring when attempting to assemble the fridge doors. 5) Lastly, and most traumatizing, after the truck driver unboxed and unpacked everything inside my house on a rainy day, he felt the need to take ALL THE TRASH and LEAVE IT ON MY FRONT LAWN then DROVE AWAY!!!!! I sent pictures and filed a complaint but the company never resolved the matter. They are apparently fine with the unprofessional way the employees represent their business. I will never use this company again and I would NOT RECOMMEND them to my worst enemy.

If I could give a zero I would. Definitely in the top 3 of horrible businesses I've dealt with. Unprofessional, racist, and incompetent.

,This place is an absolute joke! They charged my Mom $3000 to move her belongings from Las Vegas to Phoenix AZ. My Mom had boxes and a couple of dressers. She didn't have any couches, no dining room table and chairs and no bed. She had a 1 bedroom apartment. And they charged her $3000! And that isn't counting the $175 a month I've been paying to keep her stuff in storage until we had a place to bring her things. I've been paying her storage fee since August 2021. So, along with three grand, I've paid over $2600 to store some boxes and a couple of dressers. It's highway robbery. They met with my Mom when she was ill. She had cancer in her lungs and her brain, and they took her money with a smile and they haven't lost a wink of sleep. My brother passed away in 2015, and now my Mom. So every sentimental thing I have left was in her apartment. My brothers ashes are in her stuff! Otherwise, I would have told them to kick rocks a year ago. I'm finally able to get everything here, so the final insult is there is still $500 owed at delivery. I called the office, practically begging them to see if there's anything they can do to help with that final payment. She told me that the manager call me tomorrow and tell me the same thing she (Kim) was telling me today.... nope. At first she tried to tell me it cost so much because they go by the weight of the items. I told her I didn't know how that was possible, considering they gave her a quote after looking at everything. Not weighing everything. This place is horrible. Do your homework, do your research, find another place. Do not deal with these people. They are going to wind up getting about 6 grand from me and my mom, and they should be ashamed of themselves. Because it doesn't cost $6,000 to move some boxes and two dressers from Las Vegas to phoenix.

We had a great experience with this moving company. They are reliable far beyond expected and I was very impressed. Prices are reasonable and don’t take advantage like other companies. From the first call I felt at ease knowing they would take care of the move. Great communication with beginning to end. Would definitely hire them again. I recommend this moving service to everyone :)

Thank you for a very good moving experience. We found this company to be very responsive before the move, happy to answer questions and returning calls promptly. We had 2 trucks picking up in Las Vegas and delivering to Las Vegas to California. Both crews arrived on time, were very efficient and polite. Everything was wrapped well to keep it safe and unwrapped on delivery. I am happy to recommend this company.

This was one of the best experiences I have had with a moving company. They were done moving all the stuff out of my apartment really quick and did a good job wrapping and disassembling and reassembling everything. They kept really good communication with me from the moment I booked to the second they were finished. I highly recommend them.

I can't express enough positive things about my experience with Sky Van Lines Moving. From beginning to end, they were exceedingly professional and assisted me at every step of the journey. I was already worried since this was my first home purchase and I was using a moving company, but they put me at rest very immediately. I cannot recommend these people highly enough and would absolutely use them again for my future relocation.

Do NOT use Sky Van Lines moving company, especially if you're moving across the country. When they come to give you a quote and pack you up, everything is great. Brian Bevan was very responsive and helpful giving us a quote. The moving team which consisted of four men, and was efficient and professional. They disassembled beds and the kitchen table and loaded 390 boxes and other items in five hours. We were impressed. Our truck arrived at our new house about two weeks later. It was not the original truck, and we realized our belongings had been unloaded and loaded again. This time only ONE man showed up to unload our huge truck of boxes and furniture, that earlier required four men to load. We couldn't believe it - one man struggling to unload couches, TV's, boxes, etc... all by himself. We moved our possessions from a 3000 square foot house, so this was a difficult and dangerous task for one man.Of course he didn't want us to help, but we did end up helping. My husband and I moved over 70 boxes from the garage to where they needed to go in our new home. My husband helped assemble the kitchen table and beds, because we simply couldn't watch him try to do all this himself. We paid over $10,000 to Sky Van Lines, and then ended up moving most of the boxes ourselves. This man did his best, but could not physically do everything. It would have taken him three days. It also put him in physical danger - watching him precariously trying to slide a couch down the stairway by himself was awful. The man didn't take a break and worked very hard. He called his boss, but got no response.I called Sky Van Lines customer service that morning to complain and inquire when other help would arrive. The man I spoke to was surprised and apologetic, but did absolutely nothing. Read their reviews - apparently it happens all the time. Unfortunately, we didn't read the reviews. While unpacking, we noticed my son's vintage John Deere tractor had been stolen out of its box. It was given to him by his grandparents, which is irreplaceable. Our two TV's were damaged. One now has a screen that is distorted and the other has a broken stand. Several pieces of furniture that Sky Van Lines wrapped, was scratched and broken. The following week we were in touch with Kim at customer service, expressing our disappointment. She was apologetic, but didn't help us. All she did was send a link to start a claim using an incredibly tedious claims company called CSI, which requires you to upload tons of documents, pictures, and web links. So besides spending hours moving our own boxes, we now have to waste hours of our time on this claim.Sky Van Lines made an incredibly stressful time even worse. If you want to spend over $10,000 moving your own boxes, then hire them.

Their staff made it very easy for us to plan our move over the initial phone call. Movers were on time, respectful, and overall really did a terrific job. Sky Van Lines is the only way that we'll move in the future.
