US Foods has procedures that drivers describe as a little weird but standard for a food place. Arrivals involve parking in a big parking area to the side or left of the guard shack. Drivers must walk to the guard station to be assigned a door. A lumper fee is required immediately, paid by text before unloading begins, which is noted as expensive. Unloading can be slow, sometimes taking hours, though occasionally it is fast. The paperwork office is in the corner by the doors. Staff members, including the lumper personnel and paperwork lady, are frequently called awesome, super nice, and helpful, though a loading mistake was noted once. Services are generally considered good. Facilities include a porta potty, with females allowed to use the restroom in the receiving office. There is no overnight parking and no tobacco on premises. Drivers are advised to wear a hi-vis vest and note that a stop at the guard shack is not needed on the way out.
Took me before appointment, unloading time could be better, per overall can’t complain. The lady from the office has to improve her communicative skills and erase from her head the idea that she is queen of the warehouse
