I wish I could give zero stars they are absolutely horrible and will take it apon themselves to monitor your account like you are a kid no matter the age and lord forbid if one thing goes wrong that'll make things more difficult for you in all honesty pick a different bank

If you want a bank that treats you as a person not a number, American First National Bank is the bank for you. They are the nicest most helpful people I've ever encountered in a bank. Always smiling. Always greet you when you come in. Always willing to help you with anything that you need as much as possible. I always leave smiling.

My 90 yo mother had 2 accounts with this bank for her grandchildren. She is in hospice and is having confusion and is unable to walk. She has a Power of Attorney and this bank refused to honor it, it is a legal document. They refused to talk to the successor on the accounts or even to the account holder on the phone. They left us no choice but to carry my mother to the car, drive her to the bank (she has not left her home in almost a year), lift her into a wheelchair, and take her into the bank. They were unapologetic about the whole event. Whilst, Rosalee (the manager) told everyone at the bank about the incident before we even arrived and everyone was looking at my family when we came in and were whispering about us, extremely unprofessional. I will NEVER bank at this barely-known financial institution and will advise others not to either. They even told us that the grandchild would not be able to have her money till she was 18, even with her parent there. We subsequently closed the account and it took 10 minutes for them to even cut us a check. Then to top it off, after all the headache and forcing us no other choice than to bring my 90 yo frail mother to the bank, THEY DIDN'T EVEN ASK ANYONE FOR IDENTIFICATION!

Will not accept US embassy documentation which is surprising. Also, will not provide an easy route for beneficiaries, so be very cautious as you will likely end up in long litigation for your loved ones. Due to the bank delays despite extensive identification the beneficiary is now deceased. I cannot stress how important it is not to rely on this bank for inheritance.

I've had many bank accounts over the last 20 years and this is by far the most helpful, understanding and great customer service I've ever had. I'll be a customer for life, they always remember who I am.

I have had such a strange time trying to open a business bank account in Pahrump. I went through 3 different banks and the process was either lengthy or strange. I wish I had gone to American First National in the FIRST place! Leann Weston was so incredibly helpful and willing to walk me through the very simple process. I now have one less thing on my never ending list. I'm a happy customer so far!

LOVE this bank for our business accounts! They take care of you and get to know you unlike any other bank! They go above and beyond to help you and make sure you are in good standing with your accounts and help when they can! I love going up to the window and everyone knows me and talks to me, and the manager Rosalee is the sweetest person ever and goes above and beyond. If they had more ATM’s closer to town and more branches in different states I would use them for our personal to.

I've been a customer for a few months and I'm not happy. I've never had an account with a bank where you get harassed if it goes into the negative. I am one of those customers that knows exactly what's going on with his money situation and I do not need to be called about my negative balance, like I'm some child. Dealing with the branch manager is challenging and I'm not happy. They control your account like you are some child. I tried to deposit money into my account to cover the negative balance, and my card is locked, so I have to call the branch manager to get it unlocked. I don't like talking to people, and with a bank, I shouldn't be talking to the manager on a weekly basis. Especially when I told the branch manager to leave my account alone and to quit calling me.So when I get my settlement check, I will deposit it in to the account, and immediately withdraw up on closing the account. Never again, will I deal with bad customer service again. Horrible.

I was completely at ease when I came in to set up my account. They even offered me coffee! It feels like they actually care, and were super helpful if I had any issues with my account. Best bank in town. Leanne was super friendly when she was helping set up my account. She helped explained the options available to me so I could pick what suited my situation the best. Very good customer service!

This Bank has the best Customer servivce. I have 3 accounts with them. Both business and personal. Switched to them after a lot of poor service from the other banks in town. I have been with them for years. I wish I could give them more stars!!!
