“Good shop. Every time I'm in town (I live far away) I make sure I load up on all kinds of things because they have good prices and a good selection on mags and ammo. Nye County Armory has a 20+ years experience gunsmith on staff who does the best work in town in the fastest time. It is one of the better shops in town.I do, however, have some criticisms:I do not understand the thought process of not putting prices on everything in the store. It is frustrating for me and other customers to have to ask employees who are typically busy helping others for prices and if the register is being used I must sit and wait to get an answer to my question when a simple sticker can solve all these issues.I would like to see more professional grade long guns on the wall and less Palmetto and used guns that aren't really viable for modern defense.I would like to see good factory made AR-15s on the wall like Aero Precision, BCM, sig, Daniel Defense in addition to thier top notch custom built AR-15s with their famous, unmatched, warranty.Variety is the spice of life and I would like to see good AKs like Zpaps and Kalashnikov USA side folders. I would like to see Sig AR-10s. I would like to see the new Springfield bullpup 556 rifle. I would like to see Ruger American and Remington 700 rifles in good Magpul chassis. I would also like to see some cold war era rifles such as the FAL and the PTR 91.A rifle line up like this would help them dominate the gun industry in this area. Which is what I want to see and what I think they deserve with their hard work and dedication to the craft.Additionally I would like to see more optics from primary arms and EOTech with appropriate mounting systems. So I can walk in to the store and after spending my money leave with a rifle capable of shooting a thousand yards and not need to order stuff from all over the internet or hunt down parts and pieces from other gun stores.Their selection of AR-15 parts and components is the best in the area but I also see room for improvement there with more variety and more reputable brands. I would also be ecstatic if they stocked more professional grade surefire weapon lights the new turbo series is the best on the market.This store has so much potential I sincerely wish they see this review and take it to heart and follow as much as they can and become the best store they can be.”
