“I had a bass on layaway and it was my dream bass. Pearl white, gold hardware, maple neck, etc. Well, sadly, I missed a payment and it went back on the shelves. I was certain I’d lose the bass, the restocking fee would kill me, and a misunderstanding would ruin the deal. The store manager owed me nothing, yet she worked hard to reinstate the layaway and bypass the restocking fee. She called the regional manager, kept it in the office, and went so above and beyond to get me my bass that I was floored. This bass is now happy in my studio.
