An amazing place for all your shooting needs. The owner listens to what you want, has the unusual items and stuff you wouldn't expect at a regular gun store. As far as setting up a rifle or handgun, there's no one better than George.

I am very pleased with Regular Dude Defense. They have restored built and maintained most all of my firearms. From battle rifles to revolvers and autos they do it all. You will not be disappointed with their work or their prices. The owner George is a retired combat pilot with the USAF he is a pleasure to converse with, I am proud to know him as a patriot and a hell of a master gunsmith. You will not go wrong by doing business with RDD you will gain knowledge from his expert advise on choosing a hunting plinking self defense firearm. You will be very pleased with your visit to RDD so skip all the B/S and go to the source you’ll thank yourself for doing so.

The name is Regular Dude but the vibe I get is: "my ops are blacker than yours". They had good deals on stock Glocks and mags but I was not impressed at all with the 'custom build' tan Aero 6.5 CM with a no name Chinese scope and Chinese mount that the shop owner said could shoot 2k yards. I was also disappointed with the set of backwards Troy sights on one of the AR builds. The terms "quiet professional", "modesty" and "humility" are not exercised here. I have no desire to return to this place and hear how heroic and highspeed the owners are.

I don’t write reviews. I pay my good money for good service. I moved to Pahrump in September 2022, trying to locate and setup local sales/services I need. Need some work on my CZ 2075.I am compelled to write this after my experience with George and Dylan at Regular Dude Defense yesterday, 01/27/23.The quality of experience, environment and genuine passion for craftsmanship is TOP notch! You are personally welcomed to a secure environment in a off grid scenic area, like visiting your buddies that live outside of town.Absolutely zero pressure for sales! George and Dylan aren’t behind the counter selling you anything, they’re talking with you, showing you and discussing their current and recent projects, personal of course.THEY ALSO ARE CZ SALES AND SERVICE, many others brands also, but what a find!!!!I am soooo happy to have a relaxed, no pressure, comfortable and genuine regular dudes firearm resource. I will be servicing and purchasing from them for all of my firearm needs.Thank you George and Dylan!!!Rex

OK, for whatever reason this web site will not allow me to post new ratings I havw posted two since August of this year all 5 star. So let me update you. George has worked on 3 hand guns 1 bolt action rifle he's also built me a gorgeous SBR recently which I just want to sit and admire. George is my go to guy with any of my firearms I trust him implicitly. He will be very honest with you he will not sell you something you don't need fact is he is not a salesman, he is a master armourer/gunsmith/weapons builder. His prices are the best his work is impeccable and he is a great guy. P.S. He just put a great set of Novak sights on my 1911 free of charge, you can't beat that! (This was posted last month).George his is by far THE BEST GUNSMITH / SHOP I've done business with in over 20 years I am a retired LEO so I remember the days when customer service and professionalism was paramount. Regular Dude Defense, has all of that and then some. Finding this shop was a blessing the owner is a superb gentleman who makes you feel at ease right away his name is George, he is A-1, Top Shelf, a full command of the knowledge in his profession. He has a loyal customer in me why, because he is a true professional but most of all a great person. George went above and beyond to help me with my item at a very fair price what can I say, HE IS A GOOD DUDE!!

I don’t go around throwing out five star reviews, but this was a no brainer. I went to RDD with a general idea of what I wanted and he worked with me through the whole process to completion and I couldn’t be more happy. Always looking to steer you in the right direction on a build, never pushy, and delivers amazing equipment. Anyway, I can’t say enough, just look at the pictures….1000+ words.

***UPDATE*** Took another custom build from RDD out to the range. Phenomenal work! My custom G19 was ringing steel repeatedly from 50M.Top quality gunsmith work and great gun store. Helped me with a custom builds as well as troubleshooting a few OEM issues.
