Shout out to Advantage Computers (Reno). They always take care of the problem, are professional, respond quickly and the majority can be remedied remotely. Also, a friend was on the phone with one of their techs and was having a health issue. He couldn't find his words. The tech recognized the problem and called 911. He's fine now and if it weren't for the tech he might not be here today.

I'm a tax preparer & when computer issues come up - they always come up at the wrong time. They are also generally end-of-the-world stuff. Oh yes, they usually happen very close to a deadline date and always-always- happen when computer repair shops are closed- like on a Friday night or Saturday morning & the client is on his way to my office. My last end-of-the-world issue just happened when the tax prep program wouldn't open-just kept getting stuck on the landing page. I always have a few returns come in late-ok, very late-this season was no different Imagine the final filing date is 2 days away-no more extensions & the program won't open or print, etc. Dead in the water panic sets in. I called 3 different IT specialists & left messages. RUSS at ADVANTAGE COMPUTERS returned my call within an hour on Saturday morning! Remoting in we started to fix the problem immediately & within a 1/2 hour I was back in business again! I am so grateful Russ talked to me in regular-speak because I don't understand IT talk & my head usually blows up after 5 minutes! THANK YOU Russ, for calling me on a Saturday & going the extra steps. My computer is cantankerous & always goes haywire at the most inconvenient time, so if you want it, you have my business for life! RUSS made a potentially horrible & costly day much easier to handle. I've already started to tell my clients to call ADVANTAGE COMPUTERS if they need IT help - they are worth your time!

I bought one of Advantage's standard PC configurations, with some variations, and data transfer from my old computer.Very knowledgeable, and more responsive than almost any retailer I have ever dealt with. Victor kept me constantly informed of the status of my order and answered every question I had. We mostly communicated by email, and I got a reply every time in a day or two, and often even the same day.

I had a problem when my computer crashed during a software upgrade and I couldn't log in. I called Advantage and they had be bring it right over. They were able to get in and do a back up of my files and give me access to the admin account. They worked fast and saved my day.

Went in to see how much they will charge to fix our computer. Guy turned it on and found out the initial problem - hard drive issue. They quoted me $280 and up to fix + $100 and up for the part + $100 to install windows, + labor. I can't afford to pay so I decided to go, but the guy charged me $25 to plug in a computer and find out what's wrong. It was literally less than 8 minutes conversation. WOW, way to go to make money. I wish they have a sign or inform me about a minimum diagnostic fee.

I have been meaning to leave a 5 star review for Russel and his amazing team for years. They remotely support the wifi network in our restaurant in South Lake Tahoe. We have had a number of issues over the years from internet providers to equipment malfunctions and every time, someone at Advantage Computers is ready and willing to help. Sometimes Rus would even know that we were offline before we would know and he would be calling us!! What great service! Countless hours of troubleshooting, overnighting new equipment and texting pictures of wires we can't identify - Rus was patient and helpful through it all. I highly recommend their service and will continue to work with their company for as long as they will have me! They are spectacular.

We have had issues with our computers lately and they have been able to fix them quickly and efficiently all with a low cost. They are super friendly and very professional. We highly recommend them for any issue that you may have with a computer.

I have had incredible experiences with Advantage Computers. I know the owner, Russel Burkett, personally, and have been able to rely on him and his staff for any of my tech concerns. Advantage Computers consistently provides troubleshooting and consultation services to my benefit, even if the solution does not necessarily result in business for the company.

I have brought in two Surfaces that my kids use, and Advantage easily cured both issues, giving both machines back by end of day so homework (and tomfoolery) could remain on schedule. Highly recommended.
