Alamo kept its promise of being the friendliest and most efficient car rental service. My husband and I were completely satisfied with the check in service with Evie. And our Hyundai Tucson proved to be reliable, fuel efficient and easy to drive. Our checkout went smoothly . Alfredo and Sergio are 2 of the friendliest and most professional Alamo agents I've ever met making sure we were happy with our car and Alamo. I would like to thank them again for making our rental process so enjoyable!! We look forward to our next trip!!!

Reserved my car online. We went to the counter inside, He said I have to go outside to pick the car. We took about 20 min to get our luggage and go to outside counter. We were first in line of about 6 other people Outside counter said 35 to 40 minutes unless you want a 15 passenger van. we could not wait we had to take the van. Unfortunately they were short staffed and said the cars were on another lot waiting to be cleaned and brought over.

This is the first time we used Alamo in lieu of Hertz rental. I must say the experience was super smooth arriving in Tahoe/ Reno and well as checking back in when we departed.I think that the staff inside the airport was great and the woman who checked us out on the return was amazing.

Habib was very helpful when we returned our Ford Bronco. Our entire experience was awesome. The check in process was easy and fast. Our car was even better than we hoped for and very clean. We'll definitely use Alamo again.

Booked online for 2 vehicles. Picked up first one on 6th for my gf. Nothing was flagged online or at this pick up. Had an issue with who could pay/drive until they asked our relationship. I went on a separate trip and when I flew in and tried to pick up my vehicle and was told they couldn't rent to me because I already had a vehicle out. Different state 3000 miles away and different driver, but I couldn't rent a second one for myself. Would have been nice to know when I booked online or at the first pick up they could have mentioned something. Left me scrambling to find a last minute availability with a competitor. Hertz came through and saved the day.

Great experience with Alamo car rental. The customer service was out standing. They upgraded my rental with out notice witch was nice. Also thanks to the customer service on the return just a pleasure to go a quick get away and have no issues at all. I will definitely use them again.

We picked up at Reno airport. The counter staff was great. The garage staff was great! Pick up and return was super easy. We will definitely rent from Alamo again

The on site airport rental facility in San Diego is fairly easy to navigate. Having a bad experience with another car rental company, I decided to try Alamo.I have rented cars from Alamo on four separate occasions this year. Each time was quick to check in and fast to return car. The service personnel are friendly and courteous.The only complaint I have is that the cars are sometimes not up to my standard as far as maintenance goes. One rental has brakes noises and a high speed wobble. Another had a distinct pull in the steering. Two were okay but had little things or noises. Overall safe cars but not perfect.I will stay with Alamo in San Diego just because of the the service personnel and timely in and outs

We had a terrific experience, as always, with Alamo. Service stand-outs were Sadie at check-in, Tatiana in the lot choosing our car, and Sergio at the return garage. Please let them know how much we appreciated their friendliness and care!

The Alamo Rental Car at Reno Airport check out of my rental car was one of the worst CS experiences I have had in my life. I waited 1.5 hours to get my car at noontime on Monday, 10/9/23. Over 35 people were in line and the line was even longer at National rentals. The operational processes totally failed and the explanation was that Monday noon time is their busiest time of the week, yet they had zero preparations in place to address this known issue. Alamo had one staff member checking in and distributing the car keys as the rental cars were brought in dripping wet from just being cleaned. I received a mini-van in lieu of my 4 door sedan that I rented. I assess total blame on upper management for the lack of operational forethought to the processes in place that put their staff in a losing position to have the customers angry, frustrated and late on their travels. Several people blew a gasket at your staff person and I felt sorry for him as he had no back up or a way to make it right. POOR JOB ALAMO! IF this is what post-merger world looks like, then count me out and I will fight future consolidation of the rental car industry as the customer loses.

We arrived in Reno and the process to get our car was fast and efficient. After collecting our receipt and heading to the rental car garage the woman in the kiosk had upgraded us from a midsize car to a Toyota RAV4 XLE free of charge. We drove 225 miles and only used 7 gallons of gas. The vehicle was clean and mechanically sound. I plan to use this service again on future visits! Thank you for making our 1st anniversary a safe and hassle free experience!!

My wife and I rented a car from Alamo, pickup at the Reno/Tahoe Airport and Drop Off at Santa Barbara Airport. The whole process was smooth. The car provided drove nice. The only issue was the quality of the windshielf wipers which could have been dangerous in more serious conditions but fortunately we did not experience too much rain. Other than the wipers would definitely recommend Alamo and would be willing to use them again in the future, but with a more thorough inspection of such things when picking up

I had a reservation for a full size car and unfortunately, by the time my flight arrived, there were none left. I was given the option to select a bigger vehicle or an intermediate sized car. I went with the Toyota Corolla and the customer service rep discounted my price to account for the difference. Interestingly, the car did not have a full tank of gas when I picked it up. I made sure to take a photo of the gas tank indicator and showed it to Alfredo when I checked the car back in. He made sure to discount my total price to account for the missing gas. While there were a couple of inconveniences, the customer service of Alamo representatives was exceptional. Everyone (including Alfredo!) was very friendly, kind, understanding, and accommodating. This was a positive experience.
