This is where I work: Arrow Electronics located at 665 Maestro Drive, Reno Nevada. I've only worked here about 7 months and And if I had to limit myself to one word that defines The essence of this company it will have to be "Dynamic"It's a fast-paced job that is surprisingly easy for anyone to perform if they have a strong work ethic. The managers here are very cordial, approachable, and most of all resourceful. They not only treat their employees with dignity and respect, they also strive very hard to accommodate each employee's individual needs and concerns. You Need to take split your your shift for the day to take care of important appointments, family concerns and personal needs? No problem! Arrow got your back! It's not just about the dollar sign with this company...they truly care about their employees!And speaking of the employees: Arrow Electronics is a melting pot of cultures, languages, nationalities and ethnicities! Discrimination of any kind is not tolerated here, That includes religion,race, and / or sexual orientation.Many of the employees, who have been here for years, are more than willing and eager to assist those who's just starting out. It's not a "every man for himself"mentality at Arrow - it's all about true teamwork: everyday and all the time!There are layers of training to ensure that one is well equipped and able to perform their task in accordance with their assigned job specifications. The pay is very good for those who's looking for a job for the first time. The Average pay: approximately $20.25 an hour with both weekends and paid holidays off.The benefits are definitely top of the line: denta,l vision, medical and life insurances, 401k etc etc... they also will help pay for your individual educational needs once you work here for a year....you name it and Arrow Electronics got You covered!So if you looking for a job that is relatively easy to perform snd employer friendly, then I urge you to apply at Arrow Electronics. I can confidently say that I would never do business with this company. I live across from a park with a large pond and wildlife. They come in here with massive speakers and blast music through the park and neighborhood for their "picnic". This park is meant for wildlife, peace and serenity. If these people are this inconsiderate of the people around them, then how do they treat people that do business with them? Arrow, your total disregard for the residents of the Idlewild Park area speaks volumes....

Went in for a interview what a disorganized mess, the person who they said would interview wasn't there and the guy who did interview me was condescending and rude plus no one had my application or resume on hand to see my work experience. Stay away

I currently work here, it's fun. i enjoy picking. keep seeing comments about management and while yes it does feel like they don't do anything half the time they are doing there best. equipment is broken a lot but that's because it is old, it's all being updated and replaced as of today. pay is good and will only go uponly gripe i have is the ridiculous requirements to get trained and certified on things like the OP, reach truck and forklifts

Modern slave owners ... think they own you. They treat their employees horrible. Don't expect to get any real raises or promotions. Prejudice and racism also lives here. They expect you to be loyal to them and give none to you, even after giving them years of your time.

Worked here one day. Shuttling there products in trailer across the street. At break time I asked to use the bathroom armed security guard refused to let me use the bathroom, even when I was working here. I asked three times and felt I like was a criminal. He let me use it after I begged.The attitude of this security guard was uncalled for. Disgusting.Why weren't the security guards guarding us while we were shuttling million's Dollars of products while the trailers were open.Because Barney Fife influenced them.

THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY. They sent me a part that someone used my information to get. I have been trying for 4 days to get a return authorization so I can send it back and have the funds credited to my account but not one returns the calls or emails. Go somewhere else.

Hiring team is unorganized big time.two month's wait for application process, They hand up the calls after an interview, you get an email from arrow electronics you'll be call in about a week. you get an offer about a month after the week they told you were going to be call. O! and then they block or change their email. What are you guys doing?
