This review has absolutely no reflection on the bank tellers or staff - they are all top notch professionals and if my experiences were solely based on that, you'd have a customer for life. But today marks the end of a tumultuous 18 year business relationship. I've been a customer since I was 17 years old and now I'm ready to say good riddance. Bank of America has taken its customers on a roller coaster ride as of late and I think a lot of us are feeling sick. We have been put on the back burner with basic issues that should have been communicated much better. For the third time in 6 months, I've had to replace my debit card due to security breaches on my account. I agreed to canceling my card on Saturday morning with a customer service rep over the phone under the pretense that I would be able to access my new card via the Bank of America app. Evidently the app is not compatible with Apple devices, and even though I have a new iPhone, I was not able to use it to access my card. At that point I figured I'd just pop on over to my local branch - this location - only to find that it was closed! I drove to 2 other locations and they were both also closed! I guess Bank of America is closed on Saturday now even though customers were not informed of this. I was furious with the time, effort, and gas spent dealing with this, but I figured I try again on Monday, which is today. I dropped by this location at 8:30 am and the doors were locked. There was a note on the door saying the bank now opens at 10am. You can imagine my frustration at this point, but I waited until 10am to come back. The front doors were unlocked but nobody was inside! The bank itself was dark with a line of confused customers piling up outside the door but there was absolutely no staff inside the building. 3 other banks in the nearby area were also closed and thank goodness for the Mill Street location otherwise I wouldn't have been able to access my funds at all. What is going on here? I know every bank has access to its Yelp account and should update the hours accordingly! And if the bank is closed indefinitely, also please let us know! I have a hard time understanding why in 2020 an app wouldn't be compatible with all smart phones. This process should have been easy but it was not. Along with the other things listed above, you now can't even cash a check unless you have the same amount or more in your checking account to "cover the funds," otherwise you have to wait 24 hours for it to clear. Sorry, but I've never heard of that before. These are hard times and some people need their money right away. Additionally, thank you for supporting our military but I don't agree with $1 Billion being donated from Bank of America to a Marxist organization (BLM). Yeah, that's right. You're using fees and other charges from your customers' bank accounts to fund rioting in our streets, destroying of monuments, innocent people getting killed, and social division. With that said, I'm over it!!!

You ever go to your favorite restaurant/store/bank and only wanted to see one person and willing to until he/she is available? Because you know that person will handle the situation and your order will be correct. That's Alan for me. Any issue I have ever had, he has gone above and beyond to resolve the issue. Instead, it is in person, by phone, or by email he has always taken care of me. As well as, a follow-up call or email to make sure I have no other questions. Sadly service like this is rare nowadays, so when it happens, it is much appreciated.

This bank only has 2 tellers working so there is always a long wait. There seems to be plenty of bankers but they don't care and can't help at the counter. Switch to Wells Fargo and save the trouble of coming in here.
