I have not bought a car yet however Rene my salesman was very helpful showed me cars I was interested in and gave me respect for just looking and not quite ready to buy.
There are a few vehicles I am interested in and will go back and purchase from Rene when the time is right.

I can't attest for the quality of the vehicles they sell at this lot because we didn't end up purchasing through them. What I will say is that Jose was a delight to deal with, straight forward about price/tax/financing, and not pushy at all which was refreshing. Every other car lot we visited in Reno had the same shady car salesman tactics but we really appreciated Jose and his chill, no pressure approach.

So let start this off saying the receptionist “Alexis” very rude and unprofessional. I called to ask about some question pertaining a vehicle on there lot. As soon she answered, her response “what do you want” . Im like excuse me proceeds to tell me “did you not hear me”
I’m assuming she woke up the wrong side of the her or today just not her day. Even then I still should not be treated like this, then goes off that saying that I’m interrupting her, and if I could hurry up. I could not get a word in due to her being snappy. I let her know I would doing a fallow up with management regarding her attitude and customer service skills. She advised me the owner and staff would not care, due to her being a loyal employee.
I’ll be filling a complaint with BBB as well.

If I could give 0 stars. I would. My mom has spent almost 2 months trying to find a car that will pass smog from this lot since January 14th. 2nd car they promised her would be great for her, does not pass smog just like the first one. My mom of course is upset that the second car they offered doesn't pass, just like the first one. And they told her she can get a lawyer. And that is what we are doing. Always different people. NEVER the same person more than once.

The feeling of anger I have right now that I couldn’t give an all time ZERO as a rate is an understatement. A long one..Look, save yourselves the money, the time, the headaches and disappointment ETC.. & stay FAR FAR AWAY from this so called dealership. Got a car off the lot… side skirt needed to be fixed and needed little cosmetic details done. ALL EXTERIOR! I get the car back, not only was my car trashed with nasty sticky wrappers from fast food places, all of my girly lotions, my lip glosses in my front console, my personal belongings shoved deep in my glove department. Makes nooo sense because no work needed to be done on interior??? Weird.I Open the back door, find a condom wrapper on the floor!!!!! I’m baffled as I think for a second no…that’s not really what I’m looking at right???? Extra 20 miles added to the car. Oh a nice Cracked windshield as well, why not..At this point I’m blown out the roof! I call Derek from CarZone, the first time! I ask for the body shop name he says “yeah I can give you that it’s public information”. Calls me back to go talk to Pablo his boss, totally different vibe lol Says he can’t give me the name of the shop. Which is so crazy to me because whoever was joy riding my car having a great ole time while im without, should have been confronted or better yet fired. The disrespect is unreal. I leave it at that, he offers a “detail”.. once again give him my car, gives us a loaner he didn’t even make sure was good and safe to go. Tire went out before my husband made it down the street. Finally time to return the car to me, my car seats smelt like a musty damp rag! Ran through it like nobody’s business. Horrible!!! Ok.. the last thing they “promised” to take care of was the hideous window tint. They give us the run around for a couple months! Claimed they had a guy who could do it but couldn’t get him on the phone…whatever, so we wait patiently. They send us to a window tinting place, we get there, come to find out there was information not even discussed. No specific details on what needed to be done, etc. Tinting guy says contact Derek and explain exactly what was going to be done and how much. Basically derek and Pablo refuse to pay to get the tint done. Instead, tries to get us to bring the car back to them again!!! Absolutely not. Derek says their unrealistic budget from them was $150.. Tinting guy told me he gave them a very great deal and they still complain so Tinting guy, seen how frustrated we were, seen how poorly managed the situation was, how shady and just plain out wrong they are to their customers, so he offered us all that CARZONE refused to do, and said they’d take care of, for no charge. Do yourselves a huge thankful favor and don’t go to CarZone. Website states something along the lines of “we promise an amazing experience”.. all lies. Waste of time. Poor customer service. Cheapskates all around. Go to the other dealerships, at least you might have a winning chance of getting into business with people who actually care and who ain’t hard up for money.

PLEASE DONT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!! This place took advantage of my mom who is elderly, she bought a car from here and in less then 40 miles driven off the lot the car broke down. It’s a 3500$ minimum dollar fix!!! She is on a fixed income and can’t afford that type of repair. They don’t care at all and just said you signed the papers so it’s your fault. Our mechanic says they must have known that these parts were not satisfactory. This was her last chance at getting a new car and it went horribly wrong. Please save yourself and don’t come here.

My experience was very bad, because I bought a car from them with the condition that they fix a detail and they just deleted the check engine and told me that they had already fixed it. And 10 minutes after I took it, the code turned on again. When they want to sell you a car, everyone is very friendly, but when they achieve the goal of selling it, later they don't want to serve you... and then they tell you to take the car to get it fixed and they give you a car whose lights don't work, or then a very old car for you to take home until yours is there and 2 weeks minimum... and they take a long time to fix your car... I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM...

I waited in the parking lot for about 15 mins, then finally called the number to get some assistance. I understand short staffing but at least acknowledge when you have a potential customer.

I bought my car 4 years ago and when I got it I was told it had 100 thousand mile warranty for a second owner. Also they sold me a car with a non working ac and when I told them about it they said we have a mechanic that can fix it for 1000 dollars also when I drove it off the lot the car was all over the place witch had no weights on the tires and a bent rim witch they also said they would take care of and never did. Now as of today Oct 5 the car has only 82 thousand mile on it and the motor went out with no warning sign. And no warranty which I was told it had I will never recommend anybody to them. Stay away they ripped me off and charged me more than what the car was worth but they're liars

Recently purchased a Ford F250 Superduty at CarZone Reno NV.... During inspection we noticed a fairly recently (looked new) replaced catalytic converter. I asked the sales guy about California smog compliance (truck was tagged CA emissions) and was told that it was no problem passing CA smog, in fact he used the words guaranteed. Either way tampering of emissions equipment is unlawful and I was certain that the dealer/seller was responsible for that equipment. No surprise when my smog guy pointed out that the installed catalytic converter was only federal compliant and therefore would not pass. Contacting CarZone was a dead end. Initially I had some contact over the issue which progressed to not even answering my number. Filed complaint with BBB.... no response from CarZone and no surprise there. My next step will be to send a demand letter and then I suspect I'll have to file in NV small claims court over a $720 dollar part.

Talk about Best of Reno!! Well I found it right here at the CarZone. If you want to be treated like a valued customer and person this is the place. They have better service, better cars and better deals than the other places I visited. Don't waste your time at other places if you want a really nice pre-owned vehicle go here!!! You'll be glad you did!! Special shout out to José my salesman and Junior in there service dept!!
