“Excellent church experience.
Staff was welcoming and greeted us at the front door.
The service starts with about 25 minutes of uplifting worship music.
The sermon was excellent and relatable with wonderful explanations of New Testament guidance.
Coffee and donuts were served.
There is a class for kids separated by age group. The kids truly enjoyed their experience.
We definitely plan to continue visiting going forward.”
“Wow, what a real church in Christ! First time visitor. Greeted at the door, simple coffee and doughnut available but not over the top. Worship team seeking the Lord and worshipping with one electronic keyboard, stand up bass, and light drum. One voice leading the congregation in thanking and worshipping the Lord! The body attending is very diverse with young and old, different races and walks of life. People are responsive and very friendly to each other. There is fellowship and love of God and neighbor in this church. Pastor biblical centered with a real approach speaking of the reality of God and Christ in our lives. He is down to earth and easy to relate to. Encouraging to the body in surrendering our will to the will of God. Church seems to be ministering and reaching out to the community of Reno. One service at 10am with lots of opportunities to learn and fellowship through the week. As a follower of Christ from the east, I highly recommend this church. Truly loves God and loves their neighbors!”
“Only been in the parking lot playing Ingress;(the church is a portal). They come over say hi I let them know what I'm doing they say God bless and off I go.”
“They were super nice and we're one of the only ones helping with food while the shutdown was happening although because they're super religious make me feel very awkward when I was leaving they said God bless and I had to say yeah you too ? but besides that it's a very nice in the office”
“Lighthouse Baptist Church is an incredible place, filled with God’s love. The church members make you feel right at home, and the Pastor and his family are truly wonderful. I started attending before Covid, when I was younger, and after some years, I returned with my partner and family friends. We all absolutely love this church and will continue coming! I recommend this church to anyone and everyone, truly a church filled with love?”
“This is a place that is blessed by The Most High to prosper from what I can discern so far. Please come get yourself a reliable vehicle here and work with Santiago. You won't be disappointed! This is not the stereotypical dishonest used car salesman in my opinion but instead people who are running an honest, profitable business. Thank you to all the mechanics FIRST lol, to Santiago, and the nice ladies in the office. You are appreciated! Also, they have only been at this location two years so any reviews prior to approx 2017ish (?) aren't associated with these owners.”
