Prices are twice what they have on Amazon for similar quality products. Some very nice bikes I asked about some of the mid drives and was basically dismissed by a pretentious female. Why do all these specialized retailers think they are too cool to try and actually sell their products? Wouldn't spend a dime here.

Came in for a flat tire fix and they spent 20 minutes hitting it with a hammer and ended up damaging the threads beyond repair. These people don't know bike mechanics.

Called as they opened so I could ask if fixing my rim was possible. The guy ended up being Super rude and uninformative told me to “just come in” . “prices vary”. I went in and was quoted 35$ to true up my rim. A little expensive for a rim that only cost 70$ new. I agreed to that price and was told I’d get a call when they had finished. No call, no text, nothing letting me know my rim was done. It was about 2 hours till closing time so I went back in to pick up my rim. As I pull out my wallet I'm told a new price of 45$. I ask how could that be? I was quoted 35. He goes on about how busy they were and how it took longer than he expected. He didn’t even know the rim had been worked on let alone how long it took. Long story short I will not come back or recommend this shop to anyone. By the way… they are understaffed because no one in their right mind would want to work with this guy everyday.Try REI they were very polite, helpful and half the price.

Awesome experience at this bike shop from start to finish. I called about a bike fit, the person on the phone said they were really busy and would call me back, and she did (I have called many other bike shops around town and they say they will call back and never do). When I came in for my fitting, Randy was very thorough and very professional. I could tell that he knew his mountain biking. I would highly recommend giving them a shot if you are in the market for a new bike, or are looking for a fit.

Randy at College Cyclery was absolutely fantastic at helping me out with logistical issues when I was planning a cycling holiday to the area, coming from Canada. He couldn't have been more helpful, and really the trip couldn't have come together without his help. I would very gladly give him and his store the maximum 5 stars for excellent and friendly service!! Thanks again Randy!!

Time for the Spring tune up on the bicycle and there's only one place I'll take it- College Cyclery. They have a great selection of road bikes, mountain bikes, hybrid bikes and e bikes. All of the staff are knowledgeable about the products and eager to help In addition, they have great accessories which include clothing, helmets and other safety gear and a variety of bicycle pumps. I've bought and taken my bike back to them for many years. It's comforting to have them tune up the bike and knowing that I'm riding a bike that is safe and up to standards.

A remarkable, old school, shop with a wealth of bike, riding, cycling knowledge to geek out over; albeit Reno's impressive road cycling history to mountain biking down the sloops. I took my handmade road bike in and got first hand care as they understood the rarity of what my bike is. Super impressed

College Cyclery packed and shipped a bike I bought from a Reno resident. Amy was wonderful to interact with, and handled everything from the time the bike was dropped off at the shop to when it was shipped out. She was meticulous in getting the shipping quote right, and kept me posted every step of the way. The packing job was top notch as well — the bike arrived safely. I would gladly do business with these folks again.

Refused to let me use the tools in store which is not a problem but the way he said it was extremely rude. Would never go back again

Excellent shop. Was very kind and patient with us despite our ignorance on cycling. Noticed we had masks on, and unlike other shops that demanded we take them off, they offered to put their masks on while in proximity to us. I am immuno-compromised, so that kind of gesture is very appreciated. It's so incredibly important to support local bike shops, and this one was great for us. :)

I bought a bike from Amy and she was so helpful and knowledgeable. I've never had carbon before, and she told me everything I need to watch out for. The fit definitely improved the value as well, I don't think I could have gotten it adjusted so well by myself. I'll definitely be back. Photo: waiting to get fit :)

I like this shop. The owners are cool people and build some really cool trails in my neighborhood. I used to walk here on my lunch break and shop. They have a super cool and charming shop. Check this place out it is worth it.

Love this place!!! They always have what I need, and it's a huge bonus that they are in my neighborhood, as I can ride my bike there, and Amy can make sure whatever item I'm interesting in will work with my bike. I love shopping here! Amy is so nice, Incredibly helpful, and patient with this biking newbie. She always has great advice about where to ride. Love that this is a mom and pop shop. I am a retired business owner, and know the long hours they put in, especially in these rough times. Keep up the great work!

Went to have my shifting looked at, he had the bike for a week and only started looking at it on day 7, marked my seatpost with sharpie, clamped my carbon top tube too strong and chipped the paint, installed the BB bearing rubber seals backwards, this dude is never gonna touch another bike of mine. Be wary
