I've seen some bad pharmacy service, but this pharmacy takes the cake. I am often told a prescription is ready either over the phone or on the app, just to come in and wait in line to eventually find out the employees have no idea why and it hasn't even begun being processed. It often takes 30-40 minutes on the phone to get through. The counter is constantly understaffed, and the pharmacist Jeff has given me medical advice, like, "don't let your daughter take antibiotics with milk," that I've double checked with other Medical Professionals who seemed to be utterly confused about. This morning was the last straw, was told a prescription was ready yesterday by Jeff, just to show up and be told it hasn't even been processed yet. The days that everything goes smoothly are the rare exceptions, at this point I just expect it's going to take an hour or more no matter what I'm told ahead of time.

Although I've seen some questionable things at this CVS before e.g. a pretty homely fellow filling up a cart fool of booze and skipping the checkout line, I must say the photo department and pharmacy got it going on. The photo staff were very patient when it took an hour pull to wrangle my 2 year old in for a decent passport photo. Also, Jeff, the pharmacist is great...I've always had an easy time getting meds filled in a timely manner!

4 stars cause I hadta come back again 2 git my scrip filled. They were very busy & the only reason they filled it the 2nd time was cause the man at the counter remembered I had b'n there n hr b4. I still hadta wait 20 minutes 4 them 2 "quote" expedite my scrip.

Worst customer service ever! After they failed to transfer my prescription to another pharmacy, I called and waited on hold for 90 minutes then they hung up on me. I called back and on hold for another 45 minutes and still no answer. I ended up going back to The doctors office to have the prescription sent to Walmart. Don't waste your time at CVS.

I can't foresee CVS staying in business given how poorly they are all run, but this location in particular is a nightmare. All the shelves are empty and the pharmacy is a mess. The lines are forever long, your prescription isn't ready on time, their "systems" are always down. Immediately switching my prescription to someone else. I hope Amazon or someone that knows customer service gets into the Pharmacy game. One can only hope you walk into a pharmacy as clean, organized and well staffed as a Whole Foods.

would give no stars if it was possible. went in to buy a plan b. there was no "plan b" but there was aftera, an alternative, which was fine. when i was checking out, the two male employees behind the registers looked at each other, and the one that checked out my item looked over first and had a smirk on his face. absolutely disgusted. not sure if the face was a laugh or one of judgement. either way, very unprofessional and ridiculous. i almost said something but wanted to have some class, unlike these employees.

If I could give zero I would. I've been coming to this CVS for 8 years. Today I was spoken to so disrespectfully I was nearly in tears. I will never set foot in this store again. I plan to notify CVS management.

This pharmacy never has stock of items that are found on the internet web site. So frustrating to go there and not only do they not have stock, they don't know how to look for it and then send you to the CVS by Trader Joe's (a few miles away). They don't have COVID Vaccines, or boosters, they don't have COVID tests, they don't have a clue what's on their shelves. Today I asked for Oscillococcinum (everyone carries this product, not an unusual request) but the guy behind the counter (also clueless) said they didn't--but I found it with the help of someone who works there and actually cares. DUH! And. Be prepared for a long wait for anything you need in the pharmacy, the staff works at a snail's pace and have a lousy attitude. This has to be THE WORST pharmacy (very low rating on Yelp) in the network--don't go there unless you have to and don't plan on getting any help, especially if you don't feel well.

I would give this store a ZERO if I could. My husband and I stopped in to purchase some greeting cards. There was only one cashier and we were next in line behind the customer being checked out. The cashier was ringing up the customers order and repackaging the items so it was obvious this was a second "go" at this. It was taking a long time because the customer had a coupon for several if not all items and there were multiple bags. Okay, so we opted for one of the two self check counters. A young lady jumped in front of us so we now had to wait again. The self check kept requiring an employee override for everyone's transaction and I grew impatient and jumped back in the other line. The cashier is still working with "coupon lady" and after waiting a few more minutes, I left my cards with the cashier and said I would return after shopping at Trader Joes. Okay, I had now wasted about 10 minutes and took off for TJ's. Here is where it becomes unbelievable! I return from TJ's and I kid you not, the cashier is STILL ringing up "coupon lady". I grabbed my cards and went to the self check line. Waited a few minutes then rung myself up but needed an override from a clerk. This store needs some training an a good manager. What a mess!

Went here to get tested for Coronavirus. 7 days later still no test results. Dont waste your time here unless you are cool staying in quarantine waiting for them to get your results.

They always seem short handed and having problems. On 2 occasions my dr has sent prescriptions over there and they have not received them. I don't know why it's so difficult to get prescription requests emailed. I've asked my dr.for handwritten ones but they prefer online prescriptions. I get the sense cvs really doesn't care about the pharmacy part of their store.

This has ALWAYS Been the worst CVS store for us. I have to go in there periodically because my elderly disabled mother lives right around the corner BUT my neighborhood CVS store on California blows this store away as far as helpful friendly customer service is concerned!! The McCarran store never really likes being helpful and again.... my experience Confirmed this yet one last time yesterday!! Yesterday 3/23/20.... I wanted to use the bathroom to wash my hands before shopping but I was told that the bathroom is now closed due to coronavirus. You can't wash your hands during the corona virus pandemic at CVS....WEIRD! We recently updated our phone number and received a five dollar coupon that refuses to work because they did not delete the previous account holders number as they claimed they fixed So... When I went to go use the 5 dollar coupon it it wouldn't work. The tall older dark haired slightly overweight female manager walks up before even assessing the situation she says... I can't override this! I went to my California CVS briefly explained and they overrode it without question. So the McCarren store lies once again. It is not my mothers fault that you did not delete the other account and that all of The dollars we spend are credited to another's account. The time before The pharmacist went so far as to accuse my mother of pill shopping as her regular pharmacy is on California but needed her prescription filled at McCarran store one moth!!! I wont even begin to go why we refuse to use their very inefficient and lame pharmacy...but, You've got to be kidding me, McCarran CVS is truly a joke!! I can't stand when Im forced to shop at this location because of connivenc !! It's always a nightmare. CALIFORNIA CVS IS THE ONLY PLACE TO SHOP!!

Picked up a prescription yesterday. This morning, when I went to take the meds, there were only 14 pills in the container out of the 44 prescribed--they had shorted me 30 tablets. I live 100 miles from this place & was told by the pharm. asst. that they cannot transfer this to a closer store or mail me the missing pills. They made a mistake & I will have to drive 200 miles to rectify it.

I chose to use this as my family's main pharmacy because I imagined its proximity to my home would be convenient. Unfortunately, every prescription requires 2 trips to this pharmacy. They never have a record of prescriptions sent, despite my having witnessed the Dr sending the information. This requires contacting the Dr again, giving time for the refill, then, an additional trip to CVS. Not convenient. The staff are very nice. I'm not sure whether their computer system is significantly flawed, but when I handed the script directly to a staff member, not only did they lose my script, they lost the drugs as well. I just hope they didn't give them to someone else by mistake. Once, they charged me full price and did not apply my insurance (despite having it on file). That was also a second trip for a refund. After four lost prescriptions in a row, I realized it will be far more convenient to drive a little farther to another pharmacy.

I've only had experience in the pharmacy but its been excellent. The woman who runs the front is very sweet and super fast, taking 2 customers at once. The prescription was filled super quick, supposed to be an hour and was less than 40 minutes. Amazing.
