I went to CVS in Reno on California Street. Much cleaner store than my previous visits. However, the pharmacy continues to be mismanaged. I have an outstanding prescription and I was essentially given no help finding out what I should do.

This place is such a let down now. This is my neighborhood drug store & I’ve been coming here for years but lately it seems that the shelves are constantly always empty now. What happened? Every time I come here I’m lucky if I can find what I need. It’s unfortunate but I’ll be switching pharmacies & won’t be coming to this location from now on.

This location is unreal. The pharmacy techs will lie to you and say your prescription was never called in just so they don’t have to fill it. I experienced this today and was told this by the urgent care staff when I called to make sure my prescription was in fact called in. And the kicker is that they then still tried to bill my insurance for prescriptions “that were never called in by my doctor.” So I had to have the run around trying to go to a different pharmacy. The pharmacy line will be a minimum of 45 minutes long but typically over an hour with lots of people losing patience and tempers. They finally fixed the strobe light effect from their overhead lights but this place seems like it’s about to close down or it should.

The shelves are so bare it feels like they are closing this location.

The pharmacist Raj wasn’t able to help me with basic vaccination questions that pharmacists at other locations could answer.

Very Rude Pharmacy Staff.

The staff decided to close 20 minutes early just so they can stand around and do absolutely nothing.

Been coming to this location for about three years. The store always seems to be dirty: (The carpet, the trash cans, dusty shelf items)
No managerial presence, constant lean employee numbers, seemingly neverending long line for the pharmacy. I just transferred my prescriptions to 7th Street because I'm done dealing with a derelict store with a poor Google rating of 2.9 while the 7th Street location has a rating of 4.0 stars. I can live with that. Literally the worst CVS I have ever been to in my life and I'm 47 and well travelled. Been using CVS pharmacy for over 20 years. Yeah, that bad. The pharmacists deserve respect since they work hard and are not in control of the store being terrible. NO kudos to the young girls working the pharmacy counter who are clueless and just make everything worse. Goodbye dirthole.1 star because it's required, and another star for the pharmacists themselves.

The two men working tonight were life savers. I had incredibly important paperwork I needed printed by tonight, my online order never went through, so the cashier told us to come in and he'd get them printed for us. Amazing guy! Love this place!

I come here twice a month and am trying to get everything scheduled to receive my meds all on the same day but it seems impossible with my insurance trying to play doctor.
While standing in the virtually omnipresent pharmacy line, I counted about a dozen or so flickering florescent lights and another dozen or so that just needed replacing, including a few actual wall displays. The place is in disarray with a number of old aisle signage over things that don't match the items on the shelves, completely empty shelves, a seasonal department that seems to only recognize hurricane season and a horrendous self-checkout system that rarely ever works correctly. Very few employees seem to work there and even fewer seem happy about it. If you go around lunch for Reno High, you're lucky if you manage to avoid any of the drama the kids fabricate. I moved my scripts to this location when the 7th and Keystone location closed for a rebuild but I'm thinking I might change it back now CVS clearly doesn't care that much about their older locations.

This place sucks. Waiting an hour for someone to help me fill my Newborn daughter's prescription. I will never be coming back.

This place is so understaffed it is not fair to the people working there and customers. Every time I go to this location there is one person on the cash register and maybe one on the floor, the staff is always running around frantically trying to help everyone between the register line and self serve registers. Frankly the staff looks overwhelmed and distressed rightfully so due to being one of only two people that can help. CVS needs to step up their game and offer more for people to work there. There are plenty of people looking for work if it’s worth it and CVS obviously does not offer enough. I have used other places as alternatives to going to CVS just because nothing is quick there not to mention I always leave that location feeling bad for the staff.

Horrible pharmacy experience. Waited over an hour after being told RX would be ready in 10mins
