I had a very disappointing experience at the CVS Pharmacy on Steamboat Parkway. As a single mother trying to pick up a prescription for my sick two-year-old, I expected at least a basic level of professionalism and compassion. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
One of the pharmacy staff members—an orange-haired woman with large black gauge earrings—was incredibly rude and disrespectful. When she was called over to assist with a question, her attitude was dismissive and unhelpful. Her demeanor made an already stressful situation worse, and I was left feeling frustrated and disrespected during a time when I needed support.
Customer service in a pharmacy—especially one dealing with the care of young children—should reflect empathy, not hostility. Based on this experience, I will be reconsidering whether I return to this location in the future. I sincerely hope CVS takes this feedback seriously and works on improving the professionalism of their staff.

Whoo!!!
Wow! I can’t believe the experience I have had here.
The pharmacy department here is horrible, I’ve gotten better customer service from the bus boy at Denny’s.
The team member Zander who “helped” us has a very dismissive attitude and from the look of things very poor hygiene. He looked like he needed a shower, a hair brush, deodorant, and a toothbrush.
He obviously didn’t care about his appearance, which transferred to his over attitude about helping people who are attempting to fill prescriptions.
He barked at me to give my name; how to spell it, when is my birthday, and what I wanted. After explaining I’m here to pick up prescriptions; he then continued with his bad attitude and poor disposition, he did not explain any new prescriptions, and was unwilling to check on any additional prescriptions that were being processed. I will be filing a complaint on the store since they cannot allow individual complaints on team members.
Not sure if this person is disturbed, doesn’t care, or hates their life; but that type of behavior will get you some negative surprises in life.
I’m sure Xander has had an extremely rough life, and is planning to have an extremely difficult, and isolated future. Thanks Xander’s for showing me that my life could be as bad as yours. Have a great day at work man! 🤣

The level of incompetence and rudeness at this location is staggering. The young woman at the pickup counter flat out denied I have any prescriptions at all ever with them (even after confirming all my details and telling her no I in fact do pick up medication regularly)- very rude sends me along a few windows. Wait at that window, the new young woman pulls up my details no problem.... OK basic skills seem to be lacking here.
Bear in mind I am only here because I need to pickup a vacation override early refill that when I was in the previous day (and previous week when they told me to come in today) they didn't have in stock and that would be there in the morning (this is now 5pm on the day is supposed to be ready). They also told me the day before in person it is approved for early refill by insurance. Today they don't know what I am talking about and extremely rudely tell me to call my insurance to get the vacation override.
Call my insurance, this time very nice people on the line, and they say CVS SHOULD BE calling THEM for the vacation override approval, not the end user. CVS should be calling the insurance pharmacist helpline and I should not be involved.
So basically a bunch of rude people here that don't know how to do their jobs and now I have to risk not taking my prescribed medication for the time I will be away because they are incompetent.

I waited in line for 10 minutes for a prescription that should’ve been called in over a week ago and ready. They told me that it was at the Demonte Ranch location, so I of course went to Damonte Ranch and waited in their line. Damonte Ranch said that the prescriptions were back at Steamboat. I don’t know about you, but if you have other things to do, I would not have your prescriptions sent to a CVS.

Terrible custome service. I got there 1 minute after 6pm and the girl at the counter wouldn't give me my perscription for my son. Not to mention she was extremely rude. Told me to have the Damonte Ranch location treasfer it. They were out of the RX so my son couldn't get what he needed. Wal Mart from now on!

They claim to refill your prescription, tell you when it will be ready, then never actually fill it and don't tell you. Plus, if you call to try to sort it out, their automated phone service doesn't ACTUALLY allow you to leave a message. It says to press 0 to leave a message, and then hangs up on you. It has been nearly impossible to refill necessary medications.

I realize we have a shoplifting epidemic in this country. However the grey haired woman with glasses who stalked me through the entire store while I shopping was a bit ridiculous. I was the only person in the store. Waste of pay.

Easily the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. Ever. Sadly been coming here for over a year and Crazy long waits every time. Half hour ,at the least, whether i go in or go through the drive through. Even if I call to confirm that my rx is there before eating massive amounts of time by driving to the location. I show up and they say it's been transferred somewhere else. (This has happened multiple times.) Been months of this every time i visit. The girls working there seem to be doing their best but the guy (I think the pharmacist) is generally rude and doesn't seem to care that it runs so poorly. Really bad pharmacy.

New in town and first time that I needed a script from CVS. Chloe went over and above helping me get my new insurance situated and saved me over $140! As busy as they all are she really took the time and had so much patience with me.
I’m So grateful!’ Thank you!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Prescriptions are never filled on time. Even if you get a text saying your prescription is ready, the very rude pharmacy tech will tell you it's not ready, text was a mistake and you will need to wait 20 minutes. I really don't know why they can't get their act together. Unfortunately, I have no choice but to use CVS to fill my prescriptions because of my insurance.

For years the staff has worked hard to make up for insufficient staffing but since the recent labor walkout things have been spot on and working splendidly now that they have sufficient staff. After being mistreated by a local urgent care i showed up just before the pharmacy closed and received the utmost support and care for my situation. If is nice to be treated like a person
