While they do have a good variety of options, there is a constant issue at the weights/treadmill section. There’s always random items that seem to belong in storage and are always left out. Today I even noticed that on the floor there was debris from the packages, including some computer hardware/devices left on the floor. It feels like a maze sometimes in the multiple times I’ve visited and feel could be a potential safety issue. Truthfully I feel this store has become much more of a last resort if I want to find something for my home gym setup before ordering online.

Return policy is not customer service friendly. You're a sporting goods store, much different from other retail stores. I purchased a pair of expensive running shoes, a new brand from my norm. I wore them the first time and got a blister but the overall feeling was okay. I wore them a second time and experienced some discomforts and resulted in some minor injuries. They would not offer an exchange or return because the shoes have to "appear" new and not worn. They are running shoes so obviously you have to run in them in order to see if they are a good fit. Pretty disappointed that their return policy has zero flexibility for certain scenarios, such as mine. I will reconsider every purchase with Dicks going forward.

I hadn't been in Dick's Sporting Goods for several years because I had such a poor experience the one time I went that I swore I would never return. That has been changed after my last visit. The service was helpful and the store was laid out in such a way that it made you want to shop. I thought the pricing was better than what you can find at Scheels and they seem to have a wide variety of things to choose from. I felt like I got the best deal and they were helpful in arranging delivery and set up (for a fee), but even that was not difficult. I really like that they do not sell assault rifles and other things that can modify guns into assault weapons.

Went with my wife to check out treadmills and found one that was highly rated on CNN. The price on the device was $999 but the article on the CNN website said $900. The manager wasted no time in allowing us to get the lower price, which was surprising as we haven't always gotten those type of deals from other stores. He showed us the other treadmills (great selection) and explained each of their benefits. We ended up with the one we targeted at the beginning. The overall experience was five-stars. Felt like they really wanted our business. Very refreshing. Will certainly be back if we need anything sports related in the future.

Advertised $20 off for orders placed on the app over $100 Cyber Monday only (Sales Items Included). I did not receive this discount and upon chatting with customer service I was told the items I purchased did not count. It does say "exclusions apply" in small letters at the bottom of the advert but since it said sale items included; I feel this was a dishonest way to get people to install the app and I am unhappy.
