Buyer beware - these are not honest or honorable people - they will lie to your face and keep your money. Their "certifications" are bogus, their chosen repair services are a scam and their Corporate Office will not help you. Take your business and your money somewhere else. You'll be better off!

I bought a jeep from these scammers, the first day I drove it the engine just shut off while I was driving the car with my children in it! They sent me to a mechanic who told me absolutely nothing was wrong with the car. After getting it back the same thing happened. I couldn't drive more than 2 miles without the engine shutting off. Called corporate and they said I would get my money back, which I payed cash for the car. That was December 26th they said I would have the cash back! Still nothing. Every time I try to follow up they are so shitty and mad with me! They sold me a piece of shit with a smile on their face and now I'm a mother of two young kids with NO car!! I can't get another car until I get the almost $17,000 back from them. They obviously do not care about their customers or about customer service. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at ALL COSTS!!

River was very helpful and help do everything over the phone and had the cars I wanted to look at ready and pulled up front! We only had to sign paperwork and I was off with my new car!!! I was happy with the experience of buying my first car ever!! And the environment was clean and positive something I needed after my divorce!!!!!! Thank you for the help!!! My daughter will be happy with a new car mommy can take them places and the dog can go to she hasn’t been able to go in a while

Experience was very awesome. I received pre-approval on the website and decided to go see if it was true (but not expecting it to be). Low down payment and decent monthly. Once there, we found out the pre-approval was actually true.Everyone was friendly and a calm atmosphere as it didn't feel like you were being hunted by salesman. We must have test drove 8 to 10 cars and the entire time Woody was the best, joking and patient. At the end of the day we chose the perfect car for us. We returned the next morning to finish everything up. Probably the best experience buying a car we've ever had. Thanks Woody and congrats on your little boy.

The salesman tremel was very knowledgeable and friendly. Did his best at answering all our uncomfortable questions, lol, as I ask alot of questions. If you go to drivetime Reno, ask for Tremel. He will make your car buying experience very smooth and easy. Itsme itsmeUPDATE! UPDATE! So we were sooo excited to finally get a car with 4wd for the winter, then we took it home. The next day, we wanted our 10 year mechanic to look the car over. When we pulled the car from our driveway, 1/2 gallon of oil had dripped from the vehicle. We proceeded to our mechanic. Now, b4 I go on, the salesman advised us prior to purchase, that the vehicle had undergone 2 different inspections. At 2 different locations. My mechanic inspected the car and provided a written explanation of what he found. After 2 supposed inspections by Drivetime Reno, the car needed the following: brakes in need of repair, a nail in 1 tire, after we were told tires were new, another tire was determined to be unsafe and in need of replacement, the power steering fluid was too low, the oil pressure switch was leaking badly and had to be replaced. The car has a warranty that allowed us to take it to a shop Drivetime set up. This has been such an inconvenience since we live 40 miles 1 way from reno. Not to mention all the oil in my driveway that I have to now figure out how to remove. The most disheartening thing about all of this is not 1 time did anyone at Drivetime Reno call us back once they had been advised of all the issues we were having. It's as if they had their sale so now, let us figure it out. Tremel has yet to call and say ANYTHING!!! Customer service is key. If you treat customers like down-payments, your reputation will suffer. Lastly, there was a special dummy at Drivetime when we went back in with our issues, who advised us to just keep driving the vehicle in the condition it was in until we could get it repaired. Wow! i tried to purchase a 2017 silver toyota prius from drive time in reno, nevada. i met bo bush the general manager and woodrow (woody) customer experience guide. i was shown the car which i wanted to purchase. i took it for a test drive. after falling in love with the car bo bush pulled a *bait and switch* on me. the no money down as agreed before hand quickly became a...we require an additional down payment of $3000.oo down to buy the car. she even chased down my spouse (who was avoiding her) to get them to co-buy the car; which we stated in advance that they could not do. this type of *switch and bait* tactic is illegal. i would never recommend drive time in reno. nevada to anyone. so buyer beware !!! respectfully yours, gary f dederich

Super simple to buy a car. But if the manufacturer sends them a recall(before you buy it like months before) they won't fix it.And when you call them and ask about why they didn't even let you know it's not their problem. Cars are also sold over value so if you try to trade it in you're screwed.

Our experience here was great. There was no pressure to buy and no rush to get us off the lot. Our salesman River was very professional and let us take our time and pick what was right for us. It was getting close to the end of the day and he told us there was no rush. The entire staff was great and made the buying experience fun. Everyone there had positive attitudes.

Anyone that has ever bought a car knows what a painstaking task it is. Hours at the dealer, negotiating and cheap salesman. Let me tell you firsthand that is not Drivetime! This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had! In and out in less than 15 minutes, no hard sales or pressure just ease. I did the soft app online and found my terms and got the approval. Having experienced this before, you get the so called "approval" only to show up and be denied. So heading down to the dealership I was cautiously skeptic. But River reached out to me beforehand to let me know what I needed to bring, ran my credit and assured me I would be ready for an easy process at arrival. And boy was he right. I arrived to the dealer, he greeted me, gave me the keys to test drive and by the time I got back the paperwork was ready. I was able to get in, test drive and out the door before my toddler woke up from his nap. This was so easy, no pressure and I knew upfront what I would be paying out the door and there were no hidden surprises like other dealers. If you are wavering on buying a new/used car don't take a second thought at buying from them. I assure you as a single mom I know how hard this process is with less than perfect credit and not much to put down but there was no pressure or judgement here. I highly, highly recommend Drivetime and River (salesman) to buy your next car from.
