I was looking for an icon print of Saint Peter the Aleut, and sure enough when I stopped by Forerunner today, Nina pointed to a wall and there it was. If you are interested in anything related to Orthodox Christianity- chances are that you will find it here

Forerunner has moved and is now located at 644 Plumas St in Reno. I can't believe there are no reviews of this fantastic jewel of a bookstore! Perhaps ancient Christian texts, Orthodox books, and early church fathers aren't everyone's cup of tea but if they are your's, definitely put this on your "must visit" list. Forerunner is a feast for the Orthodox soul. Every inch of the walls is full of wonderful, hard to find, Orthodox items. Prayer ropes, books, pictures of icons, floating wicks for vigil lamps, incense... many items that are getting harder to find online let alone all in one wonderful little shop right here in Reno! I also met some other Orthodox shoppers and workers. Everyone was very friendly and excited to help answer questions and help find the things I wanted. I learned that the Serbian Orthodox Church is moving to Carson City next month (Sept 2019) and will be located near A to Zen Thrift Store! This will be the first Orthodox Christian Church to be located in our capital city! Welcome and we look forward to your arrival!
