Quick and easy to rent snowshoes, even offered a discount since it was for Girls Scouts. Really friendly and gave pointers and a generous bag of birdseed. My daughter loved hanging out with the owner's dog during the short time I filled out paperwork.

Great Customer service: friendly and efficient. Was able to come back down the hill for a better fitting pair of boots. Shopping at Galena Sports felt like making friends with a local who cared if we had a nice day on the mountain. Great products at good prices, too.

I absolutely loved the experience and the closeness to Mount Rose. The pricing is great, and the service is excellent.
