i will never understand miserable people who work at gamestop. you have a fun job. you sell toys and fun stuff. both boys at the store dry. worst customer service ive ever received. asked if they had any kid buu stuff and got ignored. saw a damaged dragon shield box with a color i like and when i asked him about it he said it was already discounted. mind you the ones that weren’t damaged were the same price. go figure
i know theyre probably tired of the same Pokémon question but its your job. hire someone who brightens up peoples day.
alex rings me up, hope he gave me a real name. doesn’t ask if I’m a pro member. I tell him I’m a pro member and his whole attitude changed. you try to enjoy your day off and people some how get mad at you for their life decisions. hope dudes figure their stuff out. learn to appreciate opportunities and life itself.

My friend was in your store on Feb 21, 2025. He wanted to throw away his Dr Pepper bottle. You guys accused him of stealing pokemon cards in front of the whole store. Pretty freaking racist, considering he's black. You all yelled at him and embarrassed him for NOTHING. Appalling at best. Do better.

Will not honor their own prices. Game showed 29.99. on the package in my hand. They refused to sell for that price and wanted 49.99. called corporate and they said they can not help with in store issues ..
Explained it's breaking the law. They Must honor advertised prices . They still refused.

Price tags don't matter at this location. Went to purchase a game that was listed at 49.99 on the sticker but it rang up as 55 and the employee didn't care and wouldn't honor it. The employee was also complaining about working at this location. I get why.

Store was not open. At least 30 minutes late. Employees need to show up. The other stores in the mall were open. Manager wake up.

I have done business with this store many times in the past, so when I pre ordered Final Fantasy Rebirth Deluxe edition on January 2 paying in full, I did not think this time would be a problem. I talked to a gentleman 1 or 2 days before the game came out asking if my pre- order would still be there as I would not be able to pick it up until the following week. I was told it would be no problem, as they ( game stop Meadowood mall location) would be receiving plenty of deluxe copies. When I went in today, 3-5-24, to pick it up, which is 80 miles and 1.5 hours from my house, as this location is the closest gamestop to me. I was informed that either gamestop or FedEx had shorted them 1 game( naturally) and was told they would have to order it. When I asked how long it would take to arrive, I was told they did not know as all shipments just randomly arrive and more importantly I would not be receiving the pre order bonuses that I would have gotten if my original order had been there.Needless to say, I asked for and received a full refund after being extremely disappointed. I purchased the basic game somewhere else. I fully intend to go back to cancel my other pre-orders so I may buy the games from a more reliable business or from a reliable on line source. The gentleman that helped me was polite. That is the only thing they have going for them.

This place is usually great, the man working earlier tonight however, he was very rude when we tried to ask him a question about the Xbox controllers. We wanted one that had a Bluetooth option so we could use it on our phones/computer on the go. He argued that Xbox never made Bluetooth controllers, we said we’d heard of them just recently. He raised his voice over us, and announced to the store as he interrupted, saying “Xbox does not do Bluetooth, go look it up yourselves.” We took a step back to google it, he called us over from across the room to repeat Xbox doesn’t have Bluetooth, so we just bought a random one. We get home, we read the side of the box, and it says Bluetooth. We were interrupted, talked down to, and embarrassed in public, because he didn’t know what he was talking about.

Every gaming console I've purchased has always been from GameStop. So when i wanted to upgrade from my Xbox 1 gamestop was naturally my go to. Come in ask the purchase the pre owned console and ask one of the workers on his suggestion of headset. The saving grace of this entire experience is he actually helped me find a better headset for a cheaper price then what I was already planning to buy. Says he's cleaning off the Xbox before I purchase it and making sure it's good to go. Leave the store very happy and excited for my new purchase. When I get home and take the console out of the box it had clearly been dropped multiple times (dents and whole chunk of plastic missing) and has I am moving it to get it plugged in to my tv you can literally hear a chunk of plastic bouncing around inside the case. Turn on the Xbox AND IT ISNT EVEN RESET! They didn't even turn the Xbox on when they bought it! How's this supposed to be certified pre-owned? This was quite literally untouched and just passed off to the first unsuspecting buyer that came along. Called the store and was told if I wanted to take the 1 hour drive back to the store he would be happy to reset it for me. After wasting all this time & money to get beat up console I really just want my money back. This is my last gamestop purchase I can assure you that.
