Grassroots Books is a fabulous bookstore in Reno, described as a wonderful place and seriously a new favorite used book store. Housed in what looks like an old service station, it is nothing fancy but full of treasures. The store is very well organized inside with all areas well labeled, and it carries brand new and used books with a fantastic selection at super, amazing, and hard-to-beat prices. There is plenty of random pulp novels and resource books outside and an entire sectionalized bookstore inside. The store has its own private parking lot and some free street parking. On nice days, there are sale racks out front. During the summer, visitors can go to the west side of the building to find many tables with boxes of books on clearance, still very well organized. They hold a Sunday parking lot sale with offers like filling a bag for five dollars. Weekend sales on bulk books and free book coupons are available on their website. The business accepts credit cards and cash. The staff are charming, funny, delightful, great, very knowledgeable, friendly, and super friendly, forming a fun-loving team. Customers are very glad that Amazon hasn't killed off this bookstore and plan to make it a regular stop, choosing it as their go-to for great books.
Nice and helpful (and funny) staff, and the books are really well priced!

I LOVE this bookstore. I live out of town and make sure I stop in every time I'm in Reno. Prices are hard to beat and they have a lot of variety including new and popular books. Amazing, amazing place ❤️
