I attended a party hosted at this winery yesterday. Besides conducting wine tasting, you can host private affairs here.) First, the staff is super friendly and informative. They educated us about each wine sampling, offering us a 2nd tasting if we wanted. I loved the bubbly the most. Some of the reds were good but not to my liking (but hey, viva la difference, yes?) We were in a private back room with plenty of seating for everyone and very festive. Overall, the wine, snacks (altho I wasn't quite sure if our hosts or the winery provide the food) were very good.

Moved from California this week & came across Great Basin! The damn jalapeño cream cheese wontons with that green sauce... BANGIN! On top of that the service is amazing. Our server Liz was very welcoming, super sweet, and overall a vibe. We also enjoy the basin lager (mt rose marzen) super good. Recommending this one. Definitely will be back :)

I tried this winery at Wineries on 4th and the staff is amazing. They were very nice and even showed us how they prepare and bottle their wines. I definitely recommend trying this place!

We popped in here one afternoon. This spot features 3 different local wineries. Great Basin was the only one open on the day we were there. The winemaker was the host. He was a really nice guy. He explained the process to us. We went home with five bottles. Each one was very good. Definitely stop in and say hello.

A must try winery, with friendly staff!I highly recommend trying this winery, because of the amazing staff, but also for the amazing wine. This is some of the BEST wine I have ever tasted and their winemakers were friendly and passionate about their product. Wine tasting in this area can be expensive, but the staff let us re-taste, and try more than the tasting featured. Everyone here was super friendly, and kind, which made us want to buy the wine even more. The whole winery is beautifully hidden in the Boulder Creek hills! The space is magnificent, and has a lot of beautiful land. I will definitely be back!!

Adam makes really great reds. I like the Zinfandel best followed by the Syrah. The winery is shared with two others and it has a really cool rustic Nevada look.
