Taken two or three of my car is here overtime I got to say I've been pleasantly surprised a few times. They're professional courteous and they'll explain everything to you. You don't get the feeling that they're being shady because they've got so much work they don't have time to make stuff up. There's been a couple of times they couldn't fix my car and explain to me I needed to go to the dealer to get the part or they could help arrange for my car to get to the dealer. Now that's what I call service. And it's not just the front end reps it's also expense back to the guys doing the footwork when I was out picking up my car there was a mechanic and he could have snarled at me cuz I saw he was having trouble with something but when he saw me he's still smiled and said hello. Not that I needed that but that just shows they have a good culture. You good good value for your money everywhere is expensive now so you might as well go to somebody good like Greg's garage

Most mechanic shops I've gone to even for something as simple as an oil change or even an air filter has been horribly messed up around town. Not Greg's. These guys are pretty honest and upfront. They even offer rides back to your home after you drop off your car. Good stuff.

I have been going to Greg's Garage for years. This past month I took my truck in for brake squealing. Their report recommended upper and lower ball joint issues, it said my front hubs had play, rotors had hot spots and were warped, and that I needed new brakes and rotors to get the squeaking to stop, and the wheel bearings needed packing. Michael Wraught was my the Advisor that helped me. The report I was sent had nothing on it about price. At a minimum he said I should get the wheel bearings packed prior to getting new tires (which I did need). Upon picking up my truck I asked about the price for the wheel bearings and was told $1,200.00. That seemed high to me so I got a second opinion. The second opinion told me that other than tires I didn't need anything that Greg's Garage recommended. Several days later I got a text from Greg's Garage asking me how the work was that they had done. I replied letting them know that they didn't do any work and that I didn't need any of the work they recommended. I have not heard anything more from them.Needless to say I was very disappointed given how well they used to treat me.

Used this garage once in the past (within 12 months) and again yesterday. Let's focus on yesterday. We called ahead to secure an appointment and took two days off work for what they estimated to be the required time for repairs. Dropped the vehicle off Monday evening for a Tuesday service. Upon dropping the vehicle off we learned that whomever took our appointment as well as gave us an estimate didn't bother to check the box for both sides of the repair. (Ball joints) So the estimate dramatically changed. We still left the vehicle because we had taken the time off and it needed repairs. The following day at almost closing time we called to check the truck repair status because we had not received any updates. It was late in the afternoon and it turns out hey had done nothing. Their excuse; the mechanic who works on front ends wasn't in for whatever reason. Now, all of this was starting to add up to dissatisfaction. When we expressed that dissatisfaction, and reiterated the cost we incurred both in time off and travel ( we are 45 minutes away) only to have them completely disregard our scheduled appointment, we were met with evasive answers. We asked to speak to the shop manager. Not even being able to nail down when the work would start! He didn't call back until literally 5 minutes before he left. So when we went to return the call that we missed he was already gone. Absolutely no effort was made from that point forward to dissuade us from taking our truck somewhere else. A total waste of OUR TIME AND MONEY. My recommendation if you choose to use this place don't rely on them getting your vehicle done on any kind of schedule that they promise and don't expect any concern from them when they fail to deliver.

So frustrated so excuse emotions. Brought a vehicle in needing fluids changed and alignment. 3 days later on ONLY European vehicle knowledge it's finally done. It's been 2 days and my car is STILL leaking oil. So not like an overfill or something normal. Just had to buy couple quarts to make sure I'm good on my trip.Went here due to reviews and commercials. Won't recommend this company. Prices are good. Customer service when talking is good. Zero follow through of call backs when told and shotty work. Very disappointing to say the least. Would post the picture if able but Google won't allow at this time.

They let my tow truck driver drop my broken down vehicle in their lot even though they were closed.Clean professional looking place with high security fencing to protect your car if theirs not kept in the shop. I really appreciate this attention and expense just to satisfy their customers!

As well as having competent mechanics who know their business, Greg's has outstanding customer service. As a senior women Jeff took all the time needed to make sure I understood each step of the work they were performing on my car. I highly recommend this business for your auto needs.

One of the only problems with this shop is that I’m not allowed to leave more than 5 stars! They don’t only do regular everyday drivers but also really know their stuff when it comes to modified classic cars. The staff here is amazing and very knowledgeable and always take the time to explain what could be wrong with your car instead of just doing some jobs and surprising you with a hefty bill. They have upon a few occasions seen that I was stuck in need of repairs in the middle of Hot August Nights car show…when no shop in the city takes any new customers and they were jam packed themselves, still managed to fit me in so I would be able to get on the road for my 4 hour drive home. I can’t say enough good things about this shops, work ethics, professionalism, and very kind staff. If you’re local to the Reno area you are lucky to have this as your local shop!

Unfortunately disappointed in the overall experience. Initially took our older car in for an oil issue. Knowing it’s an older car and already burning/loosing enough oil to be a concern, we wanted to know if and what could be fixed to get some more life out of it. Diagnosed with a valve cover gasket leak. Great! Simple fix and we can get more life out of the car! Fast forward to two days of use after getting car back. Check oil and there is nothing on the dipstick. Ok that’s weird, fill oil to proper level. After a full work week of use, check again and no oil! Called to get car back in as it is loosing way more oil than before the repair. In the meantime, did a compression check on the cylinders. 85-90 psi compression on all four cylinders for what should be around 140-215 psi. A little more effort in diagnosing would have saved us time and money instead of a repair on an engine that was on its last leg. When I called to cancel the appointment to bring it back in I didn’t even get asked why. Just an “ok” and then hung up.

Very impressed with service manager (Jeff) in check-in and diagnosis planning. Expertise of mechanic(s) appears high based on repair quality. I will continue to use Greg's Garage with high confidence.

I called a week ago to schedule an appointment to have my AC looked at. Took it in today and never heard anything. So I called and was told they hadn't had time to look at it. So why did they schedule me for today? Was told I would have to make another appointment a week from now for them to just look at it. Unreal.
