I got off work early to come in at 4:30 pm to open a checking a savings account. I was told it would take 30 minutes, so they didn’t have time. The store closes at 5. Really disappointed since the major reason to go with a local bank is the customer service, but apparently not here. I’ll be banking elsewhere.

I was reading reviews of this bank and am surprised at all the negativity. I started banking here 9 years ago and have always found the staff at the main office on S. Virginia to be helpful and friendly. Doesn't matter if it's the drive through or inside.

I try to have as little to do with these incompetent schmucks as possible. I've taken to depositing my paycheck on a bi-weekly basis instead of weekly because the tellers are either complete morons or they don't know wtf they are doing. It takes me 5 minutes to get a check deposited. You can't use the ATM machine like you used to be able to. And the fees for using other atms. There never used to be those fees.

Heritage bank is no longer locally owned and has suffered as a result. Since Heritage Bank Of Nevada sold out to glacier Bank, it's much harder to logon to online banking, customer support for online banking is mediocre, and you can only withdraw ATM money from one of the four heritage banks in Northern Nevada unless of course you want to pay customer fees. Because there is no 24 seven customer support I am not able to access my online account get get the help I need to log on. This is costing me money. Earlier today when I was unable to logon I was told it was my error and that I did not type in my password Correctly. My password and customer ID were and are accurate. I've come to find out that several of my acquaintances who recommended heritage bank are experiencing the same problems and they will move on to another bank as will I.

Terrible bank! Refuse to cash payroll checks even after a deposit was made to cover payroll checks. They pick and choose what they will cover and return items randomly. NOT SMALL BUSINESS FRIENDLY AT ALL

I will be changing banks asap! My wife and I have both gotten fraud with our debit cards and have only been banking with them for a short time. Then this morning I made a deposit that got cash back and then received a phone call from the same person who took the deposits from me accusing me of filling out the deposit slip wrong which made them deposit too much money into my account. I have been filling out deposits slips for 20 years now and no one has ever corrected my deposit slip. Even if it was filed out wrong, for her to call me and accuse me the way she did was just crazy!! When I started getting upset with her on the phone for the way she was handling this,she said that they do the deposits after you leave so you don't have to wait there so they just have to trust that you put the right amount on your deposite slip. Morrons! So anyone can put 50k down and they'll deposit it. The thing of it is, I got cash back with my deposits,which means she had to of looked at my deposite slip to give me the $$, so if it was filed out wrong,you would think she would of said something then and had me fill out a new one. She took none of the blame of it, and was pretty blunt at putting all the blame on me. I was trying to go small local bank, but I'm done with this bank!!!!

Horrible 1st time service at this branch. Just cashing a check which requires a verification call to be made, which I have done dozens of times with no issues at every other branch. Come into this branch and hear the teller asking for the wrong person when she calls, the owner of my company, so I give her the names of 3 other people to ask for that are authorized, which she ignores, so I again tell her she is asking for the wrong person, which causes her supervisor to walk over and try to explain how they operate, which I already knew. Long to short story, teller gets transferred around back to the same person who answered the phone, 1st name I gave her, and cashes my check while supervisor calls the other branches telling them they are doing it wrong and me and the teller are arguing about customer service. Very unnecessary way to treat a patron of one of their largest local accounts. Try another branch for your services if you want better service and treatment.
