Rented two aerators Staff was great 5 stars however corporate policy is bringing this down as they attempted to charge a 75 dollar cleaning fee for dirt in the spindles of the aerator (the part that goes IN the dirt) and there was nothing else dirty citing corporate policy as the reason for the charge.

I remodeling my house. I come to Home Depot every time I run out of material. I usually go there after work. And every time I go, I met the same lady at the customer service desk. Her name is Alexis. She is a big tall lady. She is fun chat around with her coworker. But anytime I come to ask her help her face turning so mean and angry like I bother her from chatting with her coworker. I try to be nice. “Say hi! How are you?” to her but still she still show a mean face to me and doesn’t say anything. I look at her and tell her what I need help on. She has an attitude to me not one, every single time I go there from the first time. I wonder why? I don’t know her. Is she treated the other customer like she treated me? Or just me? I just go there to buy material to remodel my house. Everybody else is very nice. Only her is very bad. But unfortunately, every time I go there I always see her at the customer service deck again, that makes me never want to come back them again. My sister so mad when she saw what that lady did to me and she was telling the store manager about what happened. He is a nice guy and he was the one help me with find and put material on my shopping car for me. I didn’t know he is the manager there. Thank you very much!!!

I'm at this store at least 3 times each week. It's usually pretty good. Today, I bought a Ryobi pole saw attachment. Got home and found that the bar & chain oil tank was inexplicably cracked. Took it back for a replacement. The tank on the replacement was also cracked. The first unit had a label dated Spring of 2021. The replacement had a label dated Spring of 2023 but, faded dye on the packaging of both units indicates that they were both stored outside in the off season (Winter) and, presumably, subjected to countless freezing and thawing cycles...which is not great for the plastic components.
The staff was courteous, apologetic and refunded my money without a hassle but, at the end of the day, I wasted about 2 hours on this ordeal, I don't have a pole saw and I still need to complete the work for which the saw was purchased. They had two more in the store, the packaging of which was in worse condition that the two with confirmed defects. Given that the first was subjected to 2 winters outside and the second to 1 winter outside but both were cracked, the problem can likely be attributed to defects in the polypropylene material of the oil tank, leaving little hope that either of the other two on the shelf were any better. So I ordered one from Amazon. 3rd times a charm, right? Even if it's not, the return will consume less of my time.

Good place to go for building supplies and tools. The serice this time was not as good as usual. I think it just depends on who is working.

Went to get some astroturf today. I was quoted $200 for the amount I wanted two days prior. When I went in to pick it up they charged me $400. All of the employees that I dealt with in the flooring section really don’t care at all that this happened, nor cared to explain how it could happen. The best I got was essentially “well that’s the price so deal with it” these people are liars at best and scam artists at worst. Anyone getting astroturf be sure to get quotes in writing before letting them do anything.

Thank you so much Patrick and the manager for helping me selecting a new shower head that will work with my lack of height. Patrick was very kind and so much help with a great sense of humor!!
