My wife and I went to JCPenny so I couuld get my wife a Valentine gift. We found a beautiful necklace that her loved. Also we want to say Shari waited on us and she was very friendly, positive attitude, nice smile and very professional. Thank you.

Jc penny has always been a staple of shopping at the mall. But lately service has been disappointing. There are fewer and fewer employees to help you find an item. And only a handful of registers open to check out at. My biggest issue right now is the jewelry counter. I bought items that because of a sale I had to pay for and leave in their lockup until a specific date. I have since changed my mind on the items. I have called multiple times to see if I could just cancel my order, but the phone just rings. It's a shame the employees are so scarce they cannot answer a phone I know is ringing in the middle of their department.

They used to carry tall women's and junior's clothing. THEY STOPPED DOING THAT. They have plenty of room in the store to do so. I guess they don't want tall women and girls shopping their anymore. What a shame, the Reno/Sparks area has a lot of tall women. At 5'11", I see women taller than me on a daily basis. TALL WOMEN DO NOT SHOP HERE!

Nice looking store. Didn't find the ankle boots I was looking for though. Nice to see it still open.
Edited to add - I was in town visiting my mother. So might be adult before I could visit in store again.

This is my favorite store to get the finest merchandise from clothing to cookware and beyond….JCPenney is where I go to get all my shopping and gift buying done and at the same time I am supporting my local businesses by getting it here instead of ordering anywhere else. I can honestly say my bras, bedding, bathroom towels and cookware all came to me in perfect condition and are of the finest quality.

Jcpenny location does not have loss prevention working during business hours.Items stolen from fitting room.The management on duty very rude...would never shop in any Jcpenny store again.

Horrible!! I went in to shop for some clothes for an upcoming wedding and put them on hold so I could come in the next day to purchase them. The girl at one of the customer service desks told me to go to the pickup counter, the lady at the pickup counter told me to go to the customer service counter I put them on hold at (she helped me find it) and then the same girl at the original customer service desk asked me why I was at the second customer service counter, and when I told her I was instructed to by the lady at the pick up desk. After waiting and being directed all over the store, the girl told me she couldn’t find my holds. After waiting yet again someone else finally told her there was a “back storage” which she found them at. At this point it wasn’t a big deal, I know how hectic things can get. I finally purchased the things I had on hold, was able to try them on again at home and they swapped out the sizing for size 14 on both items!! I’m a size 2!! I’m returning these and never shopping there again, if you ever want to buy something beware if an employee likes it they just might swap it out and take it home themselves! I’m majorly bummed because those were the outfit plans I had for the wedding and now I have to scramble to find something else.
