Kimmy Tatts is a whole vibe of its own! Gone are the days of loud, dark, sketchy studios. Instead you are welcomed with bright light, kind people, and cleanliness. I fell in LOVE with the fine line tattoos on their Instagram page so I booked an appointment for a custom piece which turned out absolutely beautiful! Kimmy is a next-level, fine line tattoo artist! I get so many compliments on the designs and constantly refer my friends and coworkers here. I’ve had 3 floral pieces done already and I couldn’t be happier with the work. Stunning is an understatement and I’m looking forward to many more!

I want to begin by sharing about the first walk through the front door. The bright natural light with all the pink is such a welcoming environment. No more intimidating, loud, dark tattoo shops!Every human that works at the shop is SO talented, and kind. I finally got to meet Kimmy she’s so talented and is so sweet. I love my new tattoo, she definitely created my vision of what I wanted. I just got my first tatts done by Angel and it was such an amazing experience. Booking was a very smooth and easy process and when I came in for my appointment I was greeted with such a calming and friendly environment. Angel really made the experience simple and easy to get through since it was my first tatt. Would fly to Reno every time I wanted to get work done if I could so I could do it here! 10/10 experience :)

I was tattooed by one of the apprentices about a year ago and that tattoo is so bad. Lesson learned to make sure that the communication is better with the artist and they understand what I want. Never had that issue before but this one is bad. I get asked all the time if it’s just a stencil ? I would go there again just because the place was so welcoming and pretty and sooo clean.Service: Tattoos

My husband and I came in for our first tattoos and had the best experience! The shop is super bright clean and open making the whole tattoo experience so much less intimidating! We worked with Angel and he did an amazing job! He did just beautiful like work on my delicate bars tattoo and my husbands Pikachu came out so cute! The shop’s pricing is very fair in my opinion. My friend suggested this place to me a year ago when I was looking to get my first tattoo, since then, I’ve had all my tattoos done here by Angel. It’s always exactly what I want and more. And if I’m not sure how I want something, Angel always designs and suggestions things on the fly and gets it done usually in 30mins or less. The shop is super clean and set up is so cute!! Staff/owner Kimmy are super friendly? I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tattoo.

So I have to start this by saying I didn't actually get any work done here. My wife and I made an appointment here to get our work done. Through no fault of theirs (totally my fault) we were unable to get our ink done. The reason for the glowing review is the way they handled it and how they even referred us to a competitors shop where we were able to get our work done. I can't say enough about how sweet and helpful everyone was at Kimmy Tats even when we didn't get work done there.

I've been an admirer of tattoos for years (okay, DECADES), and it was because my daughter wanted one that I finally did my research and discovered Kimmy at Kimmy Tatts Studio. I always knew I'd do something to honor my first fandom, Star Wars. I picked the real hero of the Skywalker Saga, R2D2 and Kimmy made him come alive in full color. Fast forward to me visiting Disneyland this Spring and running into none other than R2! Oh the beeps and whistles he emitted at looking at his own image! And when I had to get a Taylor Swift tattoo, I asked Kimmy to put some of the same stars and pixie dust whizzles on my "to live for the hope of it all" tattoo. She matched it perfectly.Don't worry, I have more tattoos planned. If you are anxious and worried about tattoos, Kimmy's kindness, professionalism and most of all calmness will wash over you like a balm. Make a consultation appointment like I did. The price of it is deducted from your tattoo.

My friends and I stopped in during Nevada Day for their Nevada Day flash special. We expected a huge line, but were able to walk in and get sat with artists right after filling out our paperwork, which is awesome for a flash special! The studio is so cutely decorated and I love how they sell local artists' jewelry and stuff in the lobby! Kimmy greeted us and was so sweet, and you could tell all of the artists really care about safety and the comfort of their clients. Tiny and fine line tattoos are difficult to do well, but Kimmy Tatts has it down! Their pricing may seem higher than the standard, but if you're looking for a tattoo that lasts and looks great, go!!
