I love Allie at L'Essance but I have enjoyed every stylist I have gone to here. I have been going to this salon for over 10 years and the ambiance is always lovely.

The salon was in a very cute old manor type home with lots of natural light. I came in with previous box-brown colored hair and Abby managed to get me to a full blonde. It was a long process but she took good care of me and let me drink my white claw ?. I will be back!

The entire staff at L’essence is incredible! Such a welcoming and awesome environment. Kelsey did a full highlight today with a cut and I am absolutely floored with the results! She took the time to make sure we were on the same page and she really listened to what I was looking for :) She took me from my drab natural to a beautiful, healthy, and bright blonde! Safe to say I found my new salon in town (and it’s adorable with all the good vibes) They also focus on using all natural products which I absolutely love. If you’re looking for a blonde specialist Kelsey is your girl. I’m now ready for summer! Thank you so much, Kelsey and all the amazing ladies at L’ essence!! 20/10 would recommend ☺️

Had unfortunately a pretty bad experience today. I came in wanting baby lights/ a more natural toner used on my roots after being heavily highlighted, and left with half my head totally brunette with a red tint. Even Krista, who coloured my hair, was surprised that it turned out much darker and picked up red she hadn't expected. I tried to respond in a kind manner, and I totally understand that sometimes the results aren't as everyone hopes for- but what I was totally shocked and disappointed by was the completely rude and unprofessional response. She refused to put a new toner on it/ add a few foils to even it out, wanted to pass me on to someone else, and then quickly said, "how about we just call it a day and you could go somewhere else to fix it." I was later offered to come in the next day for it to be fixed (after insisting)- but again, 0 flexibility with timing and with an extremely rude attitude. We're all just human and at the end of the day, "its just hair"- but I don't think there's any excuse at all for rude behaviour towards customers (or just people in general!). I was really looking forward to this appointment and generally very disappointed by the whole thing.

Terrible customer service to repeat customers. My family and I have been going to this salon for the last 5 years. Called to reschedule my haircut appointment and they charged my card for rescheduling. Explain to them I been working around my hair stylist schedule. The manager refused to listen and said your card has been charged, call us back if you want to schedule another appointment.

At L'essence Day Spa and Salon, everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the place itself was adorable and bright. I'm a bit apprehensive about haircuts after experiences where the final result was nothing like what I've asked for—often ending up way shorter and different than I preferred. But my appointment with Kimberly Lawrence was amazing! She was not only kind and and easy to talk to but took genuine care to understand precisely what I was aiming for, asking follow up questions to make sure we were on the same page. I left loving my hair and will definitely be going back to her for my next hair appointment. I can't recommend her enough!

The salon is beautiful and comfortable. The receptionist was friendly, welcoming and helpful. My stylist, Amber, was exceptional. She listened and provided input regarding what would be best for my hair. Amber's confidence and professionalism put me at ease, while her friendly nature made my time with her very enjoyable. Overall, the best experience I have had at a salon. I will absolutely be back and will not hesitate to refer friends and family.
