Nice looking place. Decent atmosphere. Service could NOT have been worse. It was so bad I didn't want to hang around to see if anyone would take my dinner order. Geez- it took so long for anyone to acknowledge me. I had to keep asking for a beer and there were no other customers at the bar. For me to not leave a tip is so rare. I think the way to handle this is by getting their attention by leaving nothing. I am curious to check out the food quality. For now I will go eat at Sierra Street.

This is our favorite restaurant in the city. The food is always great and there are always new and unique specials available. If you're on a budget like us, their happy hour has great deals on drinks, pizza, and the snack menu. My one complaint is that the large room between the kitchen and the bar is not well insulated for sound and gets very echoey which makes it hard to hear people at your table.

This was our first experience here, and one of the best meals that we have had in a while. We licked our plates clean. The server even made the joke that it looks like we didn't enjoy it lol I said yes please bring us another order hahahaha. The octopus was grilled nicely. It had great texture and super flavorful. It paired really well with the arugula salad, potatoes, and lemon vinaigrette. This was my second time trying something with squid ink. The first time I really didn't like it, so I didn't even care to try it. My boyfriend gave me a bite of his pasta, and that one bite turned into like 4 more bites lol. It was so flavorful with garlic and spices. The seafood was all cooked perfectly and just melted in your mouth. The sauce was amazing. We kept dipping our bread in it. I think my boyfriend had the vitiano wine. We also shared the cast iron chocolate toffee cake for dessert. This was the only thing we didn't really care for. Because it's gluten free, it had a different texture than what I was expecting. We really like the ice cream part and it was very creamy and the toffee part was amazing. We would definitely come back and get the same things and try something else. The place looked a little fancier in the pictures, but it's more chill and relaxed which was nice. And our server was super friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be coming back!

The wine selection is a bit paltry - the cocktail service is extremely slow - even on not busy times - the food has been hit or miss. Ambiance is extremely noisy and difficult to hold a conversation - pizza is ok - their old menu was much more expansive and impressive but their current menu is missing a lot in terms of different textures and creativity.

Liberty is a staple for us. We love going here for a date night or a fun brunch on the weekends. The food and drinks are always delicious! Must try the fondue and the Bee Sting pizza for dinner and the Green Lantern Eggs Benedict for brunch!

they had one person doing three jobs: hostess, bartender and server. she was bothered by being asked to take our order. she was bothered when we requested to split check even though we were the only ones there. food was ok but not worth the poor customer service.

Liberty Food & Wine Exchange has delicious pizzas, pastas, and salads. My favorite pizza of theirs is the Fun Guy and my favorite pasta is the black spaghetti. They have a wide array of drinks from lattes to cocktails and even bottomless mimosas/bloody marys!

Update - February 2024 This is my second visit in the past two weeks and I am thrilled to say that both times have been fantastic. The fondue has changed since I last ordered it here and my faith in all things melty cheese has been renewed! It is served in a smaller dish, and remained melty through each bite.

Loud and expensive are the words I would use to describe Liberty. I've come in very irregularly for the last 4 years and each time I tell myself to never do it again. This entire place feels, sounds, and tastes like the modern yuppy experience of going to a Round Table Pizza after a local little league tournament, complete with an army of annoying children left to their own devices by their equally attentive parents. The servers are the best part of the experience. Their knowing eyes tell you they're under appreciated but greatful for the high turnaround, high cost per item menu, but would rather be in a less loud and chaotic atmosphere.Who can blame them. There's no sound dampening, outside a handful of booths and ours bodies. I've been in this place when a soccer team of 10 year olds came in. My ears still bleed when I drive by a soccer goal.I've ordered a variety of food from the menu over the years. It all tastes fine, but nothing tastes so good to even remotely warrant the cost. I spent $20 on a calzone to go, and when I got home, the 18' pizza box contained a maybe 8" calzone that was mostly crust and bell peppers. That's been pretty much every dining experience over had at liberty. Expensive and better elsewhere for less.Overall, this place is fine if you're hard up, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who actually enjoys the food they're eating rather than yelling at over one another over mediocre food.

I have been a loyal customer for years, and I have enjoyed eating the food at liberty. I have had birthday parties, graduation parties, and company parties at liberty. However, I will not be coming back anymore due to the lack of professionalism I received the other day. The hostess, treated my boyfriend and I terribly. She hung up on us multiple times and canceled our order because I requested no cheese on my pizza because she said it was too complicated.

The girl up front is very nice , the waiter gave a really bad energy , was “nice” . killed the whole mood . food took right under an hour to arrive . everything in general took long . and i understand if its busy but a good waiter will let you know your food is coming soon etc . steak didn't have a good flavor , eggs were black and cold so maybe cooked in some dirty oil . id never come back and would never recommend to anyone . if your not hungry and you just want to chat than maybe its a good spot . pizza is and always has been good thats 1 good thing .

Atmosphere wise feels clean and the regulars are very inclusive and friendly.I sat at the bar and they’re very attentive. Especially the lady that was there when I ate there. The food was pretty good good and the meatballs were something people tended to order around me. I agree.I’m impressed with how attentive this establishment is actually. I understand now how they’re one of the best and recommended places I’ve been to.
