Guy was great! I would definitely recommend working with him to purchase a car. He was friendly, helpful and answered all my questions. Next time I am looking for a car I will be contacting him!

Well I wasn't going to post anything but considering this business keeps harassing me trying to buy back the car they sold me in 2018, I decided to let everyone know how they really are.I bought a 2014 Mazda 3 from these idiots, and found out they faked the Car Fax they gave me (it didn't include that the car had been in a front end collision, which the actual car fax sheet showed), the paint on the hood wasn't up to par, the tires were shot, and the brakes had to be replaced. They told me it was in perfect condition and when I brought these issues up after buying it, they ignored me.They also sold me a warranty that they said covered paint, when I told them the paint on the hood cracked, they told me that it wasn't covered, I got to the manager, threatened to sue them, the manager took the warranty off, gave me my money back for it, and mentioned his sales team SELLS YOU FAKE WARRANTIES all the time.I told the guy who called me today, I'm never doing business with them again, so then he pretended he couldn't hear me and called me back 3 more times from a blocked number. If you want to get ripped off, do business with Lithia Volkswagen of Reno. If you want a good car, go literally anywhere else, besides Lithia.

Service is a scam. Threaten to void warranty if you don't pay outrageous maintenance charges $1300 for 40,000 mile checkup. $506 same checkup CA. VW did inform me only they can void warranty not the dealer. Just sucks have to drive to CA for service.

This rating is largely based on the fact that Corey Wild responded to an email I sent with a fast, honest, and thoughtful response to some major issues I had with the dealership. Amy Briggs, my service advisor did a good job taking care of me, and worked hard to make sure all my issues were fixing as quickly as possible. While I cannot recommend the dealership as a whole, I would absolutely send anyone to either of the individuals mentioned above (just make sure you bring proof of your appointment).

An Unpleasant Encounter, but an Opportunity for ImprovementI recently visited Lithia Volkswagen and, unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory due to a challenging interaction with one of the staff members, he’s name is Ralph Mendoza I believe he is the sales manager. While I believe in providing fair and constructive feedback, I also hope that my experience can lead to improvements in the service provided.Upon entering the establishment, I had high hopes for a pleasant visit. Perhaps the sales member was really nice and knowledgeable of the vehicle that I intended to lease, However, my encounter with Ralph Mendoza left much to be desired. The individual in question seemed disinterested in assisting me and was rather abrupt in their responses. At one point, he’s tone and choice of words came across as condescending and insulting, which left me feeling frustrated and uncomfortable. He likes to treat people like he is the only one with knowledge of cars and he’s comments insult my intelligence and on top of that he likes to speak and speak on top of you. I understand that you guys are not obligated to take trade ins, but don’t insult customers with very low ball offers. I was going to lease the vehicle regardless of you take or not my trade in. Now i have to go to a different dealer.I believe that every customer deserves respectful and courteous treatment, regardless of the situation. It's crucial for the staff to remember that customers may not always be familiar with the intricacies of their business or industry, and it's an opportunity to educate and provide assistance rather than belittle.Despite this negative experience, I want to emphasize that I believe in giving businesses a chance to address issues and improve their customer service. Therefore, I hope that Lithia Volkswagen takes this feedback constructively and considers it as an opportunity for growth.Suggestions for Improvement:Customer Service Training:Invest in comprehensive customer service training for all staff members to ensure they are equipped with the skills to handle diverse customer interactions respectfully and professionally.Feedback Channels:Create a system where customers can provide feedback directly to the management to address any concerns promptly.Consistency: Ensure consistency in service quality among all staff members to maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all customers.I genuinely hope that my next visit to Lithia Volkswagen will be a more positive one, and I look forward to witnessing improvements in the overall customer experience.

Hate to talk down on another dealership but here we go.I'm a master technician myself; I frequently buy & flip vehicles with ease. I have 3 projects currently and I thought I'd bring down my 2004 Jetta TDI to Lythia for a quick diagnosis. I understand a 2004 model is quite old but that shouldn't warrant negligence & poor diagnostics / inspections. Vehicle concern:When given 60% throttle or over 3K RPM, there is a ticking/tapping noise coming from the engine bay.To save myself some time I figured I'd pay for an hour diagnostic rather than spending my own time to diagnose the concern so that I may continue to work on my other projects. Lythia didn't tell me exactly what they checked, what they tested or looked at.The service writer that I worked with just advised me that it was an internal noise and that they need more diag time ($195 per hour) to remove the valve cover & inspect the camshaft, lifters and to drop the pan and also inspect the rod bearings & turbo. I swiftly declined as I just installed a remanned head, brand new cam, lifters, injectors & injection pump. I also installed a new clutch but that's not related to the noise. I reluctantly paid $201 for my 1 hour diagnostic fee.Note: my coolant reservoir was also cracked in half and they stated it wasn't possible to test drive due to this. Which is baffling due to the fact that I drove it from Carson to Lythia without the vehicle exceeding operating temperatures and I know this specific dealer has a minimum 1.5-3mile loop for test drives. They could've easily driven the vehicle without worry of causing further damage. But I do understand how there would be some liability within that. Anyways, I picked the car up today and brought it into the shop. It took me a total of 12 minutes to find the cause. Utilizing a rack, I had a tech drive the car in the air, while I inspected underneath. Using a simple flashlight and soapy water spray bottle, I found a crack in the Down pipe causing this annoying ticking/tapping noise under hard acceleration. This was extremely frustrating. Why couldn't your "Certified" technician find this simple & easy issue? I was trying to save myself time but only ended up wasting $201. You'd think that a dealership so widely known for their name would have quality technicians. It's only my assumption but I do believe the quality that was put into my vehicles diagnostic was hindered due to it being an older & crappy looking model. I was scalped for money & fixed the issue on my own within the same day that I picked my car up. I will be canceling my appointment for my 2019 Jetta and I will never return to this dealership.

Had the most amazing experience here. Genuinely felt like everyone was so helpful and was so excited for me to be able to buy the car that I wanted. They went above and beyond in helping me get to a spot where I could buy my car. Guy was amazing about talking to me about everything and giving me so much good info. Brett and everyone in the finance part was so helpful and so kind!

Sales people were polite and caring about my satisfaction in the purchasing process. Financial procedure went smoothly. Received my RAV4 in good shape, directly in front of my house. There wasn't a driving permit but after a couple phone calls one was put in my email and one arrived via UPS overnight the next day. Overall a positive experience for a first time purchase without driving it first. Salesman sent 10 pictures so I could really see it in detail.

Well Mr. Cory Wild (Service Manager of Lithia VW) continues to show the lack of integrity and honesty of their service department. Mr. Wild sent a reply to me stating he would pay for half the replacement part's cost. He now accuses me of trying to charge him for half the repair cost, in addition to the part, even though I sent him the invoice for the part's cost. And proof that it was bought from the VW dealer in New Jersey which had the only part in the whole US per his service department. The cost was $776.45 which I paid. This was 20 dollars cheaper than what his own service department quoted on my service receipt of 8/3/2023 for the part ($794.38). Mr. Wild now says it was only if I bought it through them, which is not stated anywhere in his e-mail. So this tells me that Lithia and Mr. Wild had no intention of following through and was just trying to placate me. Lithia has just shown what they think of their customers they think we can be manipulated and will just go away. Well they are wrong . But to all Lithia customers beware ........ AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!!!!! at all costs.
