Do NOT open a credit card with this company. If you forget one payment, they will slap you with fees for months with no explanation, even after you pay off your card. On top of this, they have no humans answering the customer service number, and no one will respond to any messages you send through their website. This company is the epitome of shitty.

Skip Macys, they have dropped all high end brands, Hudson Jeans, Joes jeans etc. the people who work there are miserable and you literally cannot find anyone to check you if you actually find something to buy. So sad this Macys use to be the go to in town.

I love Kate Spade earrings so every time they go on sale I usually order some.At the end of November I ordered three pairs and only decided to keep one pair. Trying to return them was a major hassle. One pair they said was last act and couldn't be returned but they are still on sale on there website and not listed as last act. I spoke to several people and although they were very pleasant, were unable to help me with this. I am closing my account with them and will never shop there again. So disappointed.

Enjoyable shopping experience today. It's been numerous years since I was last here at this location and mall, for I live out of town. I must say though, that this store and mall were very nice. They are well maintained, clean, and comfortable atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive. It was a completely welcoming experience. We felt perfectly safe and secure throughout, including the parking lots. My wife found the perfect winter dress coat for her mother. Size can be a challenge, for she is short! Nevertheless, there was a huge selection, with numerous styles and sizes. And we scored a great value with their current sale, 60% off, for the coat selected. I love Macy's! It seems like you can often find such great deals for quality products.

service is so bad they put out the beds buts we cant sit on them??? whats the point. there is no value to this place especially macy mens. Workers treat customers so ass.

You would think for such a large company, that in store exchange would be acceptable for a return that is barely past the 30 day return policy. Especially since the item was never worn or taken out of the bag and I had a receipt for proof of purchase. The item is still being sold in the store and I was merely asking for store credit towards another purchase. The customer service was downright horrible, and the "manager" that was called over didn't even bother to look at what was being returned. I walked out without purchasing the multiple items I was going to purchase because of the horrible customer service.

I would only recommend this store because I love the Macy's that has always been a staple for shopping in Reno until now. The employees who are working there now are wonderful, delightful & helpful, which surprises me considering the conditions in which they are working in. The store itself is falling apart, what used to be one of the nicest department stores in Reno is a mess, the clothes are not merchandised in a way that makes you want shop, the brands are not the desired brands you would expect and can find at other Macy's outside of Reno. The WORST part is the atmosphere, the store's air conditioning is apparently broken and has been for over one year. It makes it unpleasant and unbearable to enjoy the shopping experience you would expect from Macy's. The people I feel the most sorry for are the dedicated employees who endure the hot and miserable conditions for eight hours or more to earn a paycheck, and they continue to smile and be extremely pleasant to the customer's, also considering the store is so understaffed. The employees who working there now deserve a raise and more hired help. Please Macy's women's store upgrade back to the department store we all who still love to shop in person at a brick snd mortar store for the experience we expect. THE EMPLOYEES DESERVE A FIVE STAR REVIEW but NOT the store or management who is running the show.

Wow what a crazy experience I had here today at Macy's' I was trying to return a pair of brand new boots that my husband had bought me for Christmas. I know he would never notice since I have dozens of pairs. I mistakenly went into to the Men's store and was wandering around like a fool, and this sweet lady told me the route to get to the women's shoe department.I got over there and no one was around; I heard a gal with a long black wig on ask me if I needed help. This nice but when she came over her body odor literally knocked the wind out of my sails, this was the worst B.O. I have ever smelled in my life including NYC subways you name it. She shouldn't be at work dealing with customers in this condition. Part of me is tempted to call the store manager and report this...but I digress. Next the woman who actually worked in the area came over and was rude and very unprofessional and unpleasant saying I couldn't possibly return them without some sticker. She said I needed to ask my husband for the receipt...That would NEVER happen, I would prefer to toss them out the window then ever hurt his feelings! I asked where customer service was and I headed over there.These two ladies Linda & Thalia were absolute dolls to me. I said that I would be happy with store credit and they asked me if I had a Macy's card and I said I don't usecredit cards when cash always works fine. They were both so sweet that I accepted getting a Macys card where my refund would be a credit. Sweet. I then went over to the Chanel counter to use my credit and was helped by the beautiful and kind Lydia. She was dressed so very smart with mint colored matching heels and scarf. She is perfect for Chanel. Holly the longtime girl at the Chanel counter retired last year and moved away... Lydia did not have the product I was looking for so I was getting ready to leave when she insisted she give me some samples, wow it's crazy the different experiences you can have all at the same store.Congratulations to me on my 500th review:)

Best store in town. best sale prices of higher quality items. Best return policy. Tough to find help or a checkout area sometimes but that's true everywhere.
