“They were understaffed and Pat was alone, but I got in and out within about 15 minutes. I’d go here again for a test. They didn’t even ask for a print out of my document and I was worried about needing it printed out as stated in my email from my job.
Pat was an absolute gem! Super sweet guy.”
“I never write reviews but I had such a positive experience here that they undoubtedly deserve it. When we got there, the gentleman told us that we were missing a piece of paper for our test, but we were pretty close to closing so we said we would come back the following day. He told us we could run home and grab the paper and call him if we were not going to make it in time. We raced back to grab it and he still did the blood draw! I am so high maintenance with blood tests (I am scared and have to lay down so I don't pass out). He was incredibly accommodating and made me feel totally comfortable. Even with the stress of not having all the paperwork, it was the best blood draw experience I have ever had. If all phlebotomists were this kind, I bet there would be much less fear around getting blood drawn.
Cannot recommend this place enough!!! Major kudos for hiring such incredible staff.”
“Christina at the lab in the Northwest went above and beyond with service today. My pre-surgery Covid test has been mistakenly sent to them and they no longer do Covid testing. She took the time to go through the CVS pharmacy site until she found one that had an open appointment today and booked it for me. ??????”

“Today was my first time to this location and I don't want to go to any other Labcorp location after this. It was easy to find and the one person I spoke with was awesome, unfortunately I failed to get her name. Not only was she very nice, I didn't even feel the needle going in.”
“Never had a long wait with an appt (and sometimes without). The techs here are great! At other labs, I often get poked multiple times before finding a vein. I've had consistently great experiences at the McCabe lab - just one poke and barely felt the needle! Much appreciated.”
“Personable staff and decent location. 5 stars if they remodel the inside, but it gets the job done. The gentleman who drew my blood was good, I didn't feel a thing!
I can't speak to the wait times as I was the only one there during the week at 830 am.”
“I've been on a several different medications for the past 17 years, so was tested through MD Labs to see which ones would or wouldn't work out for me. I have to say that I was very impressed by the results and even more impressed by the quick turnaround! They were able to tell me things that I didn't even were possible to discover. Great job, MD Labs!”
“Will not go to any other lab. I have to go quite often. They all are great and very personable. Sara in the front is amazing and the lab techs are amazing too!”
“Had to go in for unscheduled lab work. Had very limited time and asked if they thought it could happen. The gal at check in said they were just finishing with the other person but no guarantees (fair enough!) they got me in and done, friendly and saw a trainee from TMCC. Everyone there was great!”

“Came here a little after opening with no appointment and they saw me almost right away. Very nice and professional nurses. Fastest blood draw I've ever had, these guys are like Nascar!”
“I had the pleasure of working with Clara (Last initial "H" I believe). We had a technical issue with the paperwork. She quickly referenced a colleague and even made a call to rectify the situation. That's expected, but her positive attitude and patience with me was recognizable. She was professional and friendly. And equally important, she was skilled at phlebotomy and I felt next to nothing on the SINGLE poke she made. I really appreciated her help. Would 100% use this Quest facility again”
“This labcorp visit was among the best we've had.
1. We scheduled an appointment and arrived early
2. The front desk male receptionist was very nice. He had black hair and was of college age - I wish I got his name so I could add it to this review
3. Next, we get called back for the blood draw. The lady informs us she is a college student and asked if that's ok. We responded that "we are a difficult blood draw and would appreciate a senior phlebotomist."
4. The senior phlebotomist came in and started making jokes with us immediately and made us laugh and she successfully drew blood and we were out within 15 minutes of arriving.
Great experience.
Thank you to the college student who asked if we wanted a more experienced phlebotomist - we needed this. The labcorp we went to 2 days prior in south reno jabbed us 5 separate times and never were able to draw blood. Then blamed us as the patients for having been dehydrated - this was not true. This was just because they were incompetent and would rather blame us than their skills.
Thank you to the front desk here for being kind. The labcorp is south reno blamed, shamed, and yelled at us during our visit.
And finally, thank you to the very funny and kind senior phlebotomist at this location. She relieved our stress because of how skilled she was at drawing blood.”

“Needed bloodwork soon for a procedure and no appointments available so went in when they opened as a walk-in hoping for the best! Got checked in soon, friendly responsive front desk care. Waited a half hour to get called in, blood drawn quickly, barely felt it! So glad this lab is close to home, easy to access and not a bad wait time!”
“I find them efficient especially considering how many people they serve everyday. The front desk isn't exactly friendly, they are matter of fact. Something I can see people taking wrong. The reason the staff is so mad or a fact is in order to do all the work they need to do in an efficient manner. I'm cradle and I spend a lot of time dealing with doctors offices and labs even diagnostics. I'd rather have someone be a matter of fact with me then someone who is very friendly, but doesn't get anything done. In my experience in this office if you just let them do their job they will do their very best to help you as quickly as possible. The other thing people don't realize is if you do a walk in to a lab the weight could be anything from 2 minutes to 2 hours. It's all a matter of how many people are ahead of you and they can't control that. You should assume there will be a wait. I'd say 90% of the time I go to this location they are very quick and unpleasantly surprised. I've watched these workers a lot and they work hard. There is a certain amount of responsibility that falls to us patients. Plan for all possibilities and give them and yourself space for the unexpected.”
“9:30 appointment, seen at 9;27. Usually need blood withdrawal from the hand due to years of physical damage, tried the hand, no luck, middle arm was perfect and absolutely NO PAIN.”
“Now if you, or your employer are looking for a great place to pee in a cup, then Nevada Drug & Alcohol is hands-down the best! Walk on in with your Quest email, a full bladder and you'll be leaving refreshed and content in a few short minutes. You won't even have time to browse the many Scientific American magazines in the lobby. They do peeing in a cup for work RIGHT!”
