“Went in for a pre-employment drug screening. The staff were very polite and professional. I was in and out in just a few minutes. I'll definitely use them in the future. Also Pat is the man!”

“I was a walk-in to this Labcorp after my appointment at Quest didn't work out (because they don't accept my insurance in the state if Nevada) check in was very easy through the automated device and I was seen within 15 minutes of arriving. The staff was friendly and I was out of there in 30 minutes after getting my routine blood screening. I've used this Labcorp before about 6 years ago and some of the same staff was still there. The blonde women was great and made the experience enjoyable. My veins usually roll, when I donate bloods they often have to dig around to get the vein back. She got it the first prick and I hardly felt it.”

“Now if you, or your employer are looking for a great place to pee in a cup, then Nevada Drug & Alcohol is hands-down the best! Walk on in with your Quest email, a full bladder and you'll be leaving refreshed and content in a few short minutes. You won't even have time to browse the many Scientific American magazines in the lobby. They do peeing in a cup for work RIGHT!”

“I always have a good experience here. It's inconvenient that they're only open till four, and you can't call them, but there is always great service with a smile, and they can fit me in immediately whenever I walk in. Clean and competent.”

“Had to go in for unscheduled lab work. Had very limited time and asked if they thought it could happen. The gal at check in said they were just finishing with the other person but no guarantees (fair enough!) they got me in and done, friendly and saw a trainee from TMCC. Everyone there was great!”

“I came here for labs as a recommendation from my Dr. The lab was open on a Saturday, and that was a huge plus. The rep was so nice. He drew my blood with no issues and pain-free. The experience was quick and easy, and I would gladly use it again.”

“I've been on a several different medications for the past 17 years, so was tested through MD Labs to see which ones would or wouldn't work out for me. I have to say that I was very impressed by the results and even more impressed by the quick turnaround! They were able to tell me things that I didn't even were possible to discover. Great job, MD Labs!”

“Late morning, "drop in" blood draw visit today. I knew I was taking my chances not having an appointment time. I'd tried another Labcorp location I'd used before first, but the number of people in the waiting room there convinced me to try this location. Everything went smoothly. I was told a 1.5 hr wait time, given existing appts and the # of people waiting. I lucked out, and I was in in under 45 minutes. Tech was very professional and knowledgeable. I read several of the negative reviews; I can affirmatively say those conditions did not apply to my visit. Look, getting a blood draw is no one's favorite thing nor is waiting in a health care environment. In terms of my expectations, and the actual experience, I was pleased. [note a check in kiosk is use. it may be confusing for a new user of the services, give yourself some time to read the instructions and go through it, if you have used it before , it is quite intuitive and easy to use, scan the backside of your drivers license , then your insurance card, and viola, you're in]”

“WORST time for blood draw is a Monday, Friday, or day after a holiday. BEST time is middle of the week, mid afternoon. I walked into the office, with no appointment on 18 January 2024, a Thursday morning. They have three of the slickest check ins & I never relinquished possession of my 2 IDs. There were only 2 others in the waiting room ahead of me. The waiting room was well lighted & spic n span clean. See my close-up photo of the slick equipment used for Check-Ins. Within minutes, my name was called, by one of the employees behind a glass enclosure. I provided her with a document showing the 3 bloods tests that had been ordered by my Doctor. A few minutes later I was ushered in to a room where an employee sat me in a chair & drew the required blood samples, all done pleasantly & with a smile on her face. I was in & out within 15 minutes. The test results were transmitted to my Doctor the next day, results which I was able to review via my Patient Portal. I'll return to this same location if & when blood needs to be drawn again. I highly recommend this location. I'm ashamed to say I didn't pay enough attention or look at the name tags to know the names of the employees who were so courteous & professional.”

“I am very happy with this business. I went to this location for the first time yesterday, November 1, 2023. I decided to start using Renown more often for labs since the results they provide are more detailed than either the ones from LabCorp or Quest Diagnostics. They are similar to the lab reports from UCSF in San Francisco, which I use often and like. Maing an appointment was easy to do online, through MyChart. There were plenty of time slots available when I signed up (although I did sign up a few months in advance), as well as various Reno locations to choose from. Check-in was also easy, as I simply did it though my phone and just signed their check-in clipboard at the front. Since I had an appointment, I was called before the other person who had been waiting longer, though since it was later in the day, that person was the only other one there. It did take some time for the front desk person to sort through everything, because I had a total of six tests to be done from two different out-of-state doctors. [Tip: though you should always consult your doctor to be sure, and this is not to be construed as medical advice, you generally do not need to fast before a lipid panel, unless you have high triglycerides, even though the lab order says you should. Look it up for yourself if you don't believe me.] The good is I did not have to produce any insurance cards since I had supplied that info online. As I waited, I noticed they had a very large waiting room, with patients restrooms, a water dispenser and cups, and even USB and AC charging outlets on a counter, as well as regular AC outlets by many of the chairs. There was also free and easy-to-use Wi-Fi. [Please note, the lab services is co-located in the same suite as the Renown Medical Group (family practice), so you have to makes sure you go to the right check-in (family practice is on the left and lab services is on the right).] After they had finished my paperwork, I was promptly called in. The phlebotomist, Rebecca, was ultra professional and super nice. She apologized as she became the only phlebotomist on duty, as the other had left (although she didn't need to as I wasn't even ready yet). She did the blood draw quite easily, with no bruising left. I also had to provide a urine sample, which I did so in the restroom, which was clean. I asked Rebecca for a receipt, since I needed proof of my visit, for mileage purposes, and she said it would be on MyChart. I was skeptical since the lab I have used at UCSF also uses MyChart, but there is never an after-visit summary. But she insisted there would be one, and sure enough, when I checked later, it was there! As I left, the front desk people said bye to me...very friendly! Parking, by the way, was easy. Even though this office is in The Summit shopping center with lots of tony stores like Apple and Sephora, it is located near the southwest end, so there is plenty of space. The shopping center is also very close to the freeway, which made it even easier. So bottom line: use Renown! The are good people who care!”

“Christina at the lab in the Northwest went above and beyond with service today. My pre-surgery Covid test has been mistakenly sent to them and they no longer do Covid testing. She took the time to go through the CVS pharmacy site until she found one that had an open appointment today and booked it for me. ??????”

“This Labcorp at 601 Sierra Rose Dr 103, Reno, NV 89511, is consistently the quickest in & out location. They have 3 check-in express kiosks & a bigger than usual seating area. The staff is friendly & professional. It's minutes off the I-580 freeway at the Neil Road exit.”

“made a same day appointment online , super quick and easy process, when I arrived I checked in via text on the link sent and had a seat, I was taken back exactly on time and had my blood drawn by Daisy, who was super patient and kind despite me being nervous. She even helped me with a program since im uninsured and she saw me stressed about the price, which she absolutely didn't need to do but was so appreciated. Ended up paying $226 instead of the $1000+ it was going to be. I didn't feel a single thing, and she was super quick as well (: 11/10 with Daisy , will always be coming here from now on!”

“Like any blood drawing lab, sometimes there are backup delays. But the 5+ times I have had labs drawn, the staff was courteous and professional and the phlebotomist excellent”

“The lab tech first told me she wouldn't be able to take me back and she sees patients every 10 minutes and I should probably go to the one on Mill St,but there was nobody in the waiting room. I made comments how bad that location was to my son. I told him I'd stay until 11AM if she didn't see me I would give the place a bad review too. She took me back and she was really nice. I got labs done.I think she might of heard me tell my son about all the bad reviews n what not.”

“Needed bloodwork soon for a procedure and no appointments available so went in when they opened as a walk-in hoping for the best! Got checked in soon, friendly responsive front desk care. Waited a half hour to get called in, blood drawn quickly, barely felt it! So glad this lab is close to home, easy to access and not a bad wait time!”

“I was at the Renown South Meadows ER early morning on 4/2 symptoms of shortness of breath, vomiting blood, chest pain, and nausea. ER check in was a quick process then went to triage Peggy (triage RN) made me feel comfortable, welcomed, and listened to my concerns really well this is my first time UNR he hospital I was admitted into the ER Chris (night shift RN) was really nice and explained everything he was doing he did an EKG, started an IV, drew blood, and started the fluids. I was seen by Dr. Simmers she is such an amazing ER doctor she made me feel comfortable and she would check in so often I’ve never seen a doctor check in with me 4-5 times throughout the 4 hours that I was there. She explained things really well and listened to my concerns she ordered X-ray for precaution pneumonia which turned out to be normal and CT of my abdominal ended up finding out it was a thickening of the distal esophagus nothing urgent I was discharged and to follow up with GI. Michelle (day shift RN) was on top of it when I was in pain and gave me IV pain. Everyone in X-ray, CT, and PAR were all really nice and caring! This is an amazing hospital facility to get care at I would recommend this facility!!”
