Had a 5 star visit today! Got to see the Paul Newman exhibit and it was wonderful. The only thing missing was hearing the sounds of the engines and smell of racing fuel. Double bonus - four Formula 1 cars. Lots of other great historic cars to see but I was there for the race cars. Bought a membership so I can go back as often as I like. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, too! I had a great time.

Really great collection of cars - especially their late 1800s and early 1900s models. Descriptions for the cars were detailed and interesting as well.Gift shop has a lot of room for improvement (sparse and not much for kids) but honestly was great in its own way because we didn't get anything.Volunteers are very friendly and welcoming.

Really great collection and awesome visit. The one area for improvement is if there was a little bit more of a narrative to stitch the history together it would be incredible.

Definitely worth a visit! My fiance and I brought our children to this museum for Halloween and it really was a great experience. There are so many cars and antiques to explore. They also did a great job with their Halloween event. Our kids had a blast! If you ever get a chance to visit this museum please do. There is so much to see and learn. I'm definitely going back for a full tour :).

This place is amazing they have so many cool cars you could spend a day in one room. They even had the car from the back to the gutter movies. A new car they got is a barbie car which is really cool.

Great place to visit whether you are a car enthusiast or not. Historic cars and those that represent movies. Volunteers are so knowledgeable and enjoy being there. The museum recently built a patio area which is perfect to host events. Being a non-profit establishment, they care for our community and hosting a winter coat and blanket for another organization, Good Shepherd's Clothes closet. I will return on Oct 14 and bring blankets and coats for this donation event. I learned that by bringing donations of coat and/or blanket, you can get a half-price ticket.

Fantastic, surprisingly amazing place to spend a few hours. If you have a chance to take a tour with the docent - you'll find this even more interesting. Incredible collection of trigger point and history making automobiles gives you a feel for the evolution of the entire automotive industry. So many interesting exhibits, informative signage for each, and really nice displays - like gas stations, streets scenes, and other great setting to complement the autos. The story of how this exhibit came to be is almost as interesting as the autos themselves. I learned so much from the docent, and I thought I was already kind of a car guy. I'll be back again, it was that good! Highly recommended, even if you're not a car guy - you'll learn why cars today work the way they do, and reasons why. Thanks for making this such a great museum!

I am so glad to have had the opportunity to visit the National Automotive Museum, and here is a hot tip; if you are a Washoe County library card holder, you can download a 2 for 1 admission discount through "Discover and Go" on the library site.Came here on a weekday and it was mildly busy. The exhibit is mainly cars donated by Harrah's Casino (Bill Harrah). The cars are old, but pristine. Amazing restoration and maintenance.I have lived in Northern Nevada since 2006 and have wanted to vit the museum for some time now. It is a big win. 4 large rooms full of cars. There is a gift shop for swag. You can spend a half a day or maybe more browsing the cars. If you want to take a break and leave for lunch, you can also return to view the rest of the exhibit.Even without a discount. Tickets are reasonable and the staff is very helpful!

What an awesome museum to have right here in Reno! I purchased a Groupon for an annual membership and am so glad I did. I already can't wait to come back! The museum is divided into five galleries that have different types of cars, including really old cars and more modern ones. One gallery is dedicated to "famous cars" (aka cars that starred in movies) and another is a rotating gallery. There is also a Tesla semi-truck on display! It was so cool to see all the vintage cars (I'm talking some of the first models from each manufacturer and cars that have been around since the early 1900s). I was so impressed with how well these cars have been maintained. The volunteers at the museum were also very knowledgeable and friendly. They provided us with lots of background knowledge on several of the cars. Overall, I really enjoyed my time at the National Automobile Museum and am looking forward to my next visit!

If you love cats and the history of cats in the making, then this place is for you! There are a lot vehicles to look at and learn about. Optionally, there's guided tours for you as well that is about an hour and a half long. Admission is $15 per person. A must stop place for first timers in Reno like me!
