I brought my old school Lincoln Town Car to Nick's Automotive for a complete brake and rotor job. They did a marvelous job, I had car there in the morning and it was finished the same day. Not a peep out of my brakes now, this was a month ago.
I brought my car in again because they did such a good job on the last visit, this time I had a stuck AC pulley,and just like before, they had my car back in a very timely fashion,no issues.
Tony is one of those old pros, I Just trust his work ethic, he does it right. Good mechanic shops are hard to find these days, so I appreciate that and I highly recommend Nick's Automotive!

Tony is the best! He saved me $8,000 on a new transmission, instead fixing what was broke. I’m so grateful for his generosity and knowledge. Will definitely be coming back!

I took my 2022 Toyota Rav to Nock’s Automotive for no start issue. With their busy schedule Tony took the time and fixed my car and got me back on the road very nice and good place i recommend this place to every one thank you Anthony.

Had an energy with my engine misfiring and after calling around all morning Nick's was the only one who was willing to help me out in a pinch even though they were booked up with other jobs. They were super nice and professional, they gave me a straight forward answer and gave me the best options and pricing. Highly recommend if you're in Reno and need any engine work, to call them first. Anthony and Camron were beyond helpful and professional. They went out of their way for a stranger from out of town.

ABOVE AND BEYOND! This was a Friday afternoon of Labor Day weekend. Our check engine light on our RV came on. All RV shops were 3 weeks out for repair. We were leaving for a trip in 3 days! But one of those shops recommended we call Nicks. This shop doesn’t work on RVs but Anthony, the owner said if we brought it in he could at least diagnose the check engine light. We had a bad spark plug. Anthony and Cam looked at the engine and thought they could get to the bad plug. Anthony sent it son down to the ford dealership to pick up the parts before they closed. Anthony and Cam came in on Labor Day to repair our coach. He was very up front about the pricing. Which was very reasonable. We are so grateful to both Cam and Anthony. We will now be bring in our personal vehicles to Nicks for our regular service.

Thanks to Tony, my 1999 Toyota Corolla has never run better! I had a major wiring problem and had to replace my ignition switch and lock cylinder. He's very honest and detailed in his work. Nick's Automotive provides high quality service. I highly recommend them!

Major work done on my high mile KIA Forte. Complete rehab. Also got new brakes, tires and alignment. Put 3,000 hard mile on it since then...
Still runs beter than new. Best auto repair shop I have been to in MANY years.

Excellent service ! As a woman you know it ca be hard to trust a mechanic but Tony explained everything with ease and calm. He took his time to explain all the prices why they charge that much which I really appreciated. He explained to me that he also had daughters and he wouldn’t want anyone to overcharge them and that a lot of his clients are woman BCS they trust him and they know he won’t take advantage that they are girls. Thankyou Tony and your mechanics !

Tony, the owner of Nick's Auto, went above and beyond when my water pump went out in my Nissan on my way traveling through Reno.
He opened his shop on a Saturday, and Cameron with his wizardry mechanic skills, came in on his day off to work his magick with my vehicle.
Simply the care and compassion is something that I will never forget.
Tony believes in high quality parts to keep your car running the absolute best that it can, Nick's Auto is definitely the mechanic shop I will come back to the next time I'm in the area!

I waited a full week to write this review to make sure it was honest—and I’m so glad I did! I took my car to Nick’s Automotive after speaking with Tony on the phone about a diagnosis I got from another shop. Tony was upfront and told me the other shop could be right, but it’s rare that that much work is truly needed, so he wanted to take a look himself.
When I brought my car in, he looked at it right away, jacked it up, and walked me through the actual damage. He explained everything clearly and honestly, showing me what really needed fixing—which was far less than what the other shop quoted. As a woman, I especially appreciated how transparent and respectful he was.
Tony even helped me find a great deal on new tires and got me a full set of high-quality ones. I truly appreciate the service and honesty. I’ll definitely be back and will recommend Nick’s Automotive to friends and family—especially women—because it’s hard to find this level of trust in auto repair. Thank you, Tony!

I was in need of a trustworthy mechanic in reno nv. So I started looking around an I was blessed to find Tony...I read all his wonderful reviews so I called him an everything the reviews said about him are true...He got me right in my radiator was filled with some bad stuff so I needed a deep flush my transmission fluid was so dirty an he went right to work taking care of my car an I trusted him thru it all...He did a great job my car runs so good now thank u again Tony I will let all my family an friends kno how wonderful u are...Ladies if u are like me can't trust shops then just take yr car to Tonys at Nicks Automotive 121 Linden st he's wonderful he will explain everything he's doing he will give u full details of cost an wats recommend before he does anything...He's great I'm very satisfied..

Friendly owner and knowledgeable mechanic. Received thorough explanation and fair pricing. Postponed maintenance due to other more pressing needs. Will get the repairs there in Spring.
