In the last 6 weeks they have been out of the cat litter I get. It's always a hit or miss with this store.
It's the closest one to where I live, but I'm not sure if they understand if you run out of an item a lot you might think to order a larger amount then you have in the past

Grooming Salon
I love the way they groom my dog but the fact I didn’t purchase “express grooming” means it’ll take them 3-4 hours is ridiculous. I drive 40 miles because my dog loves them, but a 3-4 hour wait is crazy. Besides the 3-4 hour wait the people are disrespectful there. I called and inquired about how much longer it’d take and I heard 1 of them say “she just dropped her off here1 hour ago” and I was aware that I just dropped her off, but I was simply asking a question because it’s only ever taken MAX 2 hours.

I just took my mom to take her dog sweetie for a bath and blow out and it took 2 hrs and they did an aweful job on the blow out as my back seat is literally covered in dog hair. Just wow...we won't be back.

Foxy Brown’s Grooming Session
I recently brought my puppy, Foxy Brown, to the PetSmart on Mae Anne in West Reno for a grooming session, and I left incredibly disappointed. From the moment I arrived, I gave clear instructions to ensure Foxy’s haircut would be exactly how I envisioned it.
I requested a short cut from her neck down to her feet, aiming for a clean, sleek look. However, I specifically asked the groomer to keep the fullness in her face, creating that adorable teddy bear look with a round, fluffy face. Despite my detailed directions, the groomer chose to use the same clip length from head to toe – completely disregarding what I had requested.
Here’s the frustrating part: if the groomer wasn’t going to follow my instructions, why even ask for them in the first place? As the customer, my input should have been respected, and it’s disappointing that it wasn’t.
Because of this experience, I will not be returning to PetSmart for grooming services. I’ll be looking elsewhere for a groomer who listens and respects my preferences to ensure Foxy gets the care she deserves.

PetSmart- same issues over and over for years: not enough Cashiers. No floor help. Inconsistent product availability. Weve had good luck with product, pricing and delivery with Chewy. PetSmart has dumped quality products we like and the pricing just continues to spiral out of control. This chain is out of touch with the customer.

Been a customer of grooming salon on Mae Anne Ave for years. Have had same groomer each time, who we requested and have been happy with. Now have a goldendoodle, one year old. We have been out of town for awhile and couldn't get her in for a shampoo and haircut for couple of months. Usually, the bill is $90 + nice tip. Our dog was spayed 2 weeks ago and vet said to give it 2 weeks before shampoo. We did this. Wounds all completely closed and looked fine. I was advised they couldn't shampoo and trim her because stitches had to be removed. I advised them that the stitches were subcuticular; ie, they are "under" the surface and dissolve on their own (I'm in healthcare). They told me it was company policy; the stitches had to be removed. I told them this was not possible and not at all necessary. They had the salon manager come out and look at my dogs abdomen and she said, "fine. we'll do it." Picked her up several hours later and the bill went from ~$90 to $120! I don't know, but that sounds outrageous to me. Our regular groomer didn't seem happy with me (the long time customer) either. I know we all have bad days, but this seems way out of line to me. A jump of $30 and some attitude thrown in? Maybe they didn't like that I was trying to explain stitches, to them, and that my dog was fine for a shampoo. (I know what i'm talking about.) Bottom line: We won't go back, whether they were having a bad day or not. We don't need or deserve that and neither does our dog. I paid their exhorbitant bill; sorry I did. Hope the readers, here, have a better experience. Really ticked. Can you tell?

Nice variety of supplies and food for many pets. No live dogs or cats, but mix of fish, birds, lizards, snakes and spiders sometimes. Pet groomers are very friendly and my dogs love them!
