Hello, my names AP! S. Virginia PF is the best gym I've ever been to! I've been training over 15 years & the environment, cleanliness, machines, lockers and restrooms are bar none the highest of quality I've yet to see in Nothern NV. The manager Jen & her team always go above and beyond for the members. Customer service is incomparable to any other facility! I am extremely proud to call myself a PF member at S.Reno location & would/have referred many people there! Keep up the exceptional service guys! You all turn my day around every single visit! It is impossible to terminate your contract. I sent a letter of termination almost a year ago and I am still getting payments deducted from my bank account. Their customer service is non existent. I freaking hate these people and want them all to get on a bus and drive it off a cliff. Anybody giving this company a 5 star rating never had to move to a place where there isn't a location. I really hate these people. No, really... f these f'n f's.

Today, I signed up with Planet Fitness and was helped and toured by Jacob Vance. He did an amazing job at being informative/knowledgable about all the questions I had for him. I am excited to start my fitness journey!

Today is Yelp update day :) Quality/Quantity - I especially liked your crowd meter! It helps me determine when to come in. Trying to figure out a routine, so it will be different every day until I do so... So far I am happy, I just really need that extra motivation to work out/exercise. And now that I am paying, I know I will get some use out of it. Atmosphere - Largest facility of the 4 PF here in Reno/Sparks. Looking forward to your Carson City location opening, see my one picture. Overall a clean facility. At times I can see team members walking around, cleaning, wiping down equipment, refilling sanitation stations, etc. Open 24 hours. Plenty of mall parking. Service - Stormy and the team have been positive and supportive. As a new customer, it has been a very good start. I am like a kid trying out all the new equipment to see what will be the best fit for me. Price - Depends on your plan. $15 a month for basic, $25 for the Black Card. I chose to get the Black Card, mainly due to my excessive traveling. And wait until I get my RV!!!! Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1992 with your 2700+ locations. And to this owner with his 5 locations.

It's a big clean gym with plenty of machines. And it's cheap and it's open 24 hours. Those are the best things about it. If you get their black card plan you can also have massage chairs, acquamassage, and tanning booths and bring a guest. Also it's a better plan because you can break the contract whenever you want. CONS: this is a very strange company - they have all this weird propaganda around and tank tops are not allowed and they have these signs all over threatening people not to drop their weights or an alarm will go off but then they have all these other signs saying that it's an open accepting atmosphere (BS) it's like a weird mix of Christian Puritanical values and fake supportive messages. Also they are always playing Fox News on several of their TVs and I've asked it to be turned off several times with no luck. Their political donations show that they support the 4547 administration take that for what you will. during the pandemic nobody was wearing masks either. It's basically a conservative R gym. Lastly their pricing is sneaky and has hidden fees so you have to ask a lot of questions. I did a whole math exercise to compare the two plans and if you think you might not wanna do a full year then you should get the black plan (more amenities and no breakage fee). Otherwise though it's a very chill it's not a meat market or a hook up vibe at all people just mind their own business and it's actually very diverse . But it is also a budget gym so you are going to see some weird things sometimes like this old wyt guy was blowing his nose right into his hands and wiping it on the floor the other day I always wash my hands multiple times while im here. But you will have weirdos wherever you go. Lastly I noticed that the machines are all sized for men and this is a problem throughout western civilization but they are so oversized that a lot of times I can't get the right angle or my bum actually falls into a crack ... the machines are not just sub optimal, they are so wrong sized for a small person that I can't even use them properly. And I am 5'3", not an unusual size for women at all.

Dylan was very rude ...assuming I did not have a membership. Other staff had to step in and offer solutions. Dylan went as far as calling the police. On an assumption that I'm a non member . Very judgemental experience.

This gym is very clean and spacious. The equipment is new and works well. There are multiple copues of the same equipment, so there's no wait. Bathroom and showers are immaculate + ADA accessible. For a 24/7 gym you get a great value, plus tanning, red light therapy, hydrabeds, massage chairs ... I o ly wish ir was more staffed so one could get help with the equipment. South Reno Club.

Always a pleasure working out at this location. 4-5 days a week for the past 4 years. Never overcrowded, always clean and well kept and the employees are fantastic, friendly and helpful! Only complaint is the men in the locker room are too lazy too NOT slam the locker doors! They have handles, fellas!

Been going to this location 4-5x a week for over a year and love it! Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and well maintained facilities. Lively atmosphere but never too crowded or intimidating. Great experience for all levels!

For the price, can't be beat. Just hit the location off hours, and it's a fine experience. Not crowded and plenty of weights. I like that feature of the app, too.

Everything was great until today. This evening I got to the gym and I always go with my service dog. She is a husky, trained and well behaved. She sometimes is talkative when she notices something going on or trying to alert me on something. I suffer with anxiety disorder. She attends tho the gym on her vest and has her license tag so is visible to everyone. Today this lady Jennie lake came out of her office very aggressive saying barking was not allowed in the gym ( obviously very uneducated woman as huskies don’t bark they howl) I told her she was doing it because was her way to communicate something was off. Then she came at me saying so many clients about 6 of them, have complained about my “animal” as she called my service dog and the her guys at front desk had reported that to her. We went to the front desk and they only gave me one name of a person complaining and saying my dog was always asking for pet which is totally untrue, the people that pet her is people that ask to pet her. She’s never bothering anyone or in the way of people. I have videos that prove that.
Nobody has ever looked my dog in a bad way or even complained to me. I have to say too that I asked if she could come even though I’m protected under the law. That Jennie gal was rude and obviously very uneducated on what service dogs do and how they communicate. First she said was the barking and then about the petting. I also I find very unethical them disclosing the name of the person that complained “Caroline”. Awful experience, plus this triggered my anxiety to the pin t of panic attack.
I am not someone that looks for trouble, I just go into the gym workout and leave I barely talk to anyone at the gym cause I don’t like the gossiping.

I've probably been to a dozen Planet Fitness locations across several states and I found this location to be one of the nicer ones. It was quite large and very clean. The staff was very friendly.
