I've lived in the Reno Sparks area
since 1968. In this time, I've only come across a few places that didn't just straight rip you off!
Jim and his Tech's are the best!!
Got a check engine code on my 2010 nissan exterra 4x4. After taking it to another shop in town for other repairs. The other place had charged for a vehicle inspection ( which obviously they didn't do). Jim explained to us what was wrong with the vehicle. And was very informative on how the equipment worked that what used to diagnose the problems.
Saved the parts that were defective ( so I could take back to the other place in town)
To show them what a terrible job that they did on the vehicle inspection was). Jim and his staff are very honest and knowledgeable. Will be taking my vehicles to him from now on.
I highly recommend Precision Auto Center !!

I had a bunch of routine maintenance performed on my Tacoma by Jim and his team.
This was my first experience with Precision Auto.
The reasons why I will be a returning customer are as follows:
1. The precision auto price was better than the dealer price.
2. The work performed from what I can tell is flawless.
3. I am a picky and annoying type of customer yet I was treated with a lot of respect and kindness.
I would not hesitate to recommend Precision Auto to my friends and family.

Top tear auto center, they deserve more than 5 stars!
We are from out of town and on our way out of town we ran into a car emergency; no other shop was able to assist us. Jim and Precision Auto immediately jumped to help us and even drove to find the part needed. After a few hard working hours with our Jeep, they were able to confidently fix the issue and safely get us back on the road. We highly recommend this auto center for their professionalism and hospitality for us in this time of need.

Thank you guys at Precision Auto. Had my engine light come on while driving the other day. They got me right in to diagnoss. Then scheduled my repair ASAP and got me right back on the road.

Jim and Co. are extremely honest and helpful. We were visiting from out of town and they fixed our car quickly. I can't recommend them enough.

Women beware!!! I had the most awful experience here. I took my classic vehicle here for new tires and a decent amount of work. I was constantly calling for updates and barely got called back. He had my car for over a month! When I got my car back, I could see that it had been driven around for errands. There was an empty Starbucks cup and a timing belt in the back. I don’t drink coffee at all. Also, my drivers seat was FILTHY from having a dirty mechanic joyriding my whip. I also asked for white wall tires, and when I picked her up it was just regular tires. He didn’t even bother to call and tell me he can’t find any whitewalls, so he just took it upon himself to put basic tires on instead of asking me. I spent a lot of money and was treated like I was some kind of incompetent idiot. I honestly feel that I would have been treated better and communicated with if I was a man. This was the worst experience I have ever encountered with a mechanic.Services: Tires

This place gave me an honest assessment of work that needed to be done that was in line with the findings from another shop but literally HALF the price. The service tech was very informative and spoke in laymen's terms for me to easily understand. Turnaround time was also much shorter than what I was being quoted at the first shop which saved me even more on car rental. The work completed resolved the issue and I am happy with the repair. Will definitely be using this company again for any service needs.
