Last year I bought a 1967 Camaro RS which has manual steering and drum brakes. I was tired of the workout it took to do a u-turn and apply the brakes. So I decided to get power steering and front disc brakes. My friend recommended Real Performance because they had worked on her 1969 Camaro SS. Their shop is at 240 Telegraph St in Reno not in Sparks. I spoke with Gabe and I made an appointment. Upon arrival the shop is located behind Concours Body shop. Gabe was very professional and knowledgeable pertaining to my Camaro. The price quote for the power steering and disc brakes was reasonable and he asked if there were anything else. My driver side door was drooping a little so Gabe said the body shop could adjust that too. Well I thought I like doing minor work on my car but I'm getting older (mid 50's) with a bad back so why not have Gabe do the work. I also had him replace a steering wheel, install a new stereo with speakers and upgrade my seatbelts. Gabe noticed that my control arms were in bad shape he sent me a photo. He said he could repair them but it would be better to replace them. So I agreed to have them replaced. The price went up for the additional service and repairs but it was worth it. I have been driving my Camaro now for over a month and what a difference. I enjoy driving her and no more workout. If I need any additional work I will definitely have Gabe and the guys from Real Performance Speed Shop do it. Looking forward to cruising Hot August Nights!

Gabe and the guys over there have done an excellent job on my LS swapped classic cars, I’ve also had them dyno tune my ZL1 Camaro. Don’t get stuck in the sand, head over to real performance and treat your car the way it deserves to be treated.

This is my first time taking my camaro to a performance shop and Gabe has been very knowledgeable and helpful. Installed a lightweight flywheel and feel like the dyno tune dialed all the mods in, car feels great. Would recommend and definitely will be having them install heads/cam next.

Gabe and his team dyno tuned my LS swapped 1977 Cutlass around a year and a half ago. The car runs absolutely perfect, and I've driven it cross-country without a single hiccup. Recently I needed something changed in my tune file, and he was able to squeeze me in same day and take care of me. The customer service these guys have, a year and a half after completing the job, is second to none and impossible to find in this day and age. It actually ended up being slightly cheaper than he (Gabe) originally quoted.Quality of work: Good. I have no basis of comparison to go off of. Real Performance (Gabe) is the first dyno tuner I have worked with in the Reno area. I am not disappointed in the tune and the numbers seem pretty comparable to other S550 owners with similar modifications (elevations and octane ratings). My car is smooth throughout all powerband ranges and driving conditions I've used it in thus far. Prior to this I was using a "BAMA" tune to hold me over and I had a lot of sluggish performance issues. Gabe cleaned that all up.Communication: Professional and courteous. Good to know that I trying to put in $5000 in performance parts in my vehicle wasn't worth it for them to send me a quote. Don't say you're going to do something and not do it, such HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. won't recommend and will be sure to spread the word about this establishment.

When you pull up to a shop and there are muscle cars parked everywhere, you know your in the right spot. Installed full long tube exhaust. Sounds amazing.
