I definitely will not be recommending Reno Blow Dry Bar to anyone. I came in on my 21st birthday in hopes of receiving beautiful, bouncy, and voluminous hair for the party I had later that evening. First off, my service providers nail extensions were broken, so her nails kept getting stuck in my hair and pulling it out. Second, the wash was very poorly done, because of her nails getting caught, she only half heartedly washed my hair. And I never received the deep conditioning treatment that I booked for. Aside from that, my hair was not completely rinsed. There was shampoo still on my neck. Thirdly, the products used for the actual blowout are terrible. I'm a licensed professional myself, and to say I was shocked is an understatement. One of the dry sprays used smelled like sulfur. It's four days later and two washes later and my hair still stinks like rotten eggs. And not to mention, my hair was burnt. It's extremely dry and brittle now. The disappointment doesn't end there. All night at the party people kept asking why my hair stunk. It filled the room and engulfed the car. It was not worth one penny spent. Even if the smell had subsided the next day I'd still be disappointed because my hair was completely flat the following morning. I wanted soft, flowy, and voluminous hair, I left with sticky, stinky, and burnt hair.Service: Blowouts

Not to mention my hair looked amazing and lasted for days!! Seriously, I would give my experience a 10 out of 5 for sure! Thank you Quinn!!!!Service: Blowouts

Was at the Summit mall, shopping and decided to stop by the Reno Blow Dry Bar and check them out because who doesn't love getting their hair washed right!? Thought it would be a nice treat for myself! I was greeted by Dinara, luckily she was able to get me in quick! She was super friendly! I have hair on the thicker side and a lot of it so I get a little particular of how my hair is washed since sometimes when I go to the salon I don't feel like all my hair was washed. Dinara really took her time with washing it and I could tell she was mindful of making sure she got all of my scalp and hair without missing any spots! I told her I also tend to frizz and she knew just the right products to use! She also put the top of my layers in rollers to make sure I got extra volume on top and let them set while she finished the rest of my hair. When she was done with my blowout my hair looked amazing! I had big luscious curls, volume and it felt so good! I felt radiant! And the best part is she finished me in under an hour! I can't even do it that quick at home! I'm thinking about treating myself more often or especially for events I have coming up! I recommend stopping by if you feel like pampering yourself and definitely ask for Dinara! She listens, is friendly, made me feel beautiful and she's efficient!

Rushed appointment, lack of customer service, disappointing......Can't say this was a great first blow out/style experience. Scheduled for 11am for styling for a wedding this afternoon. I get texted yesterday asking if I can change to 12, since someone booked at 12 needs the 11 spot. I couldn't, as I had a makeup appointment after. Get here about 10 minutes early today...multiple times I am left for the phone to be answered, even for stylist to text the next client telling her to come in at 11:40 instead of 12. My hair is literally done and I am being asked to pay at 11:20. The entire thing felt very rushed and like I was an inconvenience. And the style I ended with was not much different than what I could have pulled off at home, definitely not worth $45. Sad to say don't think I'd be a repeat customer after this type of customer service/treatment.

I wish I could remember the girl who did my hair (Alex maybe?). She did such an amazing job. Probably the best blowout I've ever had.

Ali was my technician. She was very personal able, great scalp massage, offered drinks before sitting down, inquired about product likes and dislikes and I really lik my style. Would recommend.

After 7 visits in three months, today will be the last time I use Reno Blow Dry Bar. Pros: easy to book and the stylists do a good job. Cons: The management doesn't have good scheduling practices. And this takes away from the overall customer experience. For example: (a) I often show up on time for an appointment and wait for 15-20+ minutes for stylist to finish a previous client. Call! Give me a heads up. I'm busy too! (b) I'll book online for a specific stylist but show up and be assigned to someone else. (c) Stylist I am trying to book doesn't show up online but when you call, magically, they are available. (d) Today there was a discrepancy with my membership and if/when those services were used. That was the final straw and I've decided to take my business next door to Tangerine Avada Salon. Tangerine Avada is a much better run business that honors your time and their appointment commitments. Tangerine Pros: Often costs less (in the $35-$45 range) for a shampoo/blow dry style. Easy to book and pay online. Tangerine has a professional spa feeling - you don't see/hear the drama (so and so called in sick, we are trying to figure that out, etc). Tangerine Cons: You need to book in advance, they often book up faster than Reno Blow Dry Bar - for good reason. And if you want a glass of wine during your blow out, you'll need to bring yourself, in a coffee cup.Service: Hair styling

Worse place ever! Paid full amount and did not receive a glass of water, a neck, shoulder or head massage and owner could care less as no follow up when I told her!

Made an appt 2 weeks in advance for FIRST appt of day and website states w/$45 Pkg you get a scalp, neck & shoulder massage. Not true. Ali ( stylist) told me when I inquired into getting a massage that she ‘ knew nothing about that, that she’s never heard of it being done, maybe it’s an add on’she said. Not even offered water altho website says they offer bubbly, wine or sparkling water with massage. When I emailed owner, Jenna she stated they quit offering drinks with Covid

Had my hair done here for a wedding. I had a few pictures and my stylist did a good job creating something similar that worked for my hair length & texture. I wanted to add a little more volume when she was done and she was willing to adjust it to my liking.Service: Updo

Meh... I scheduled hair and makeup for my brother's wedding because I had shoulder surgery 6 days before the wedding on my dominant arm. I knew I wouldn't be able to style my hair or do a solid makeup job on my own. Well, this was more or less a waste of time. I arrived on time and the receptionist was ok, greeted me and checked me in. Stylist was NOWHERE. Ok no biggie probably in the back. The male stylist assisting another customer was asking about styles showing options and very personal. He was also immaculately dressed. Then.. here comes a lady in black sweats suit, white apron and very "sleepy" in appearance. Oh boy she asked for me. Yikes! She looked like she just rolled outta bed! Great. Well I came in washed with wet hair because I had to shower for the occasion (kind of an ordeal with one arm and was impossible not to get hair wet). So 1/3 of the job was done for her. She showed ZERO options and asked what I wanted. I said medium curl and to look nice and natural for the wedding since my right arm was incapacitated. She asked like tight or beachy... I replied in between please because I have quite thick hair so too tight I look like all hair and too loose looks like I did nothing. So she began....complete silence for over an hour while she dried my hair and curled. When I looked in the mirror...I could barely tell it had been curled. Ugh. I have been blessed with amazing thick long hair that literally holds a curl like it's a job. So I was really shocked that my hair already looked limp even with the use of all the stuff she sprayed in my hair (I typically don't use products and my hair can look the same after sleeping on it once I curl myself). Ok well at least it's styled and I look nice. I am at their mercy because I cannot use my right arm. Then comes makeup. I signed up for Smokey eyes no face stuff because I don't wear foundation. She did a good job on the eyeshadow. I told her I prefer browns and lighter colors because I'm very fair skinnned, like see through, so she did great on eye colors. I brought my eyeshadow primer and mascara just in case. She used my primer (yes I'm a makeup snob, I love eye makeup). She did the shadow. Then said well brows are not really in the smoky eye look... umm ok well obviously in my immobilized sling I cannot do it myself. But ok! Then I looked at her and asked what about eyeliner??? She said, "oh you want liner"??? Umm yeah duh! I cannot do that with my non dominant left hand. So she obliged. Then I said a second time that I'd brought my mascara...at which she informed me that she didn't have an eyelash curler so she couldn't do it. Well ok then I'll wing it left handed! So a whole 15 minute eyeshadow session for $20 on top of $45 hair...she could clearly see I was incapacitated but go do my own brows and mascara. Ok. WTF??? Seriously? What a joke! So I took my mascara and paid with a 20% tip which I shouldn't have given, and went home to Edward Scissor Hands my mascara and brows with my left hand... We left for the wedding and my hair was FLAT before we got there (2 hour drive to Sacramento area). My hair never ever goes flat! Ever! Even after sleeping on it. I don't know what the heck she used or did that caused it to be so flat so fast. So now my flat hair looks blah after $45 and an hour+ of styling in silence! This was a big waste of money and time. I was hoping to look great and feel better knowing that I look like a surgery patient with my big arm brace sling. However, I just felt like I should have done it myself with my left arm. I will never return to this chop shop! Save your time and money. Get a stylist at your regular salon that knows how to do hair. This was so lame for the cost. $78 in the end and I looked 1/4 as good as I do if my arm was at its regular ability level. Dissatisfied is an understatement. I cannot see why anyone would go here regularly for mediocre service at best. Not to mention sweats...really you couldn't muster up at least a semiprofessional o
