It's always lovely when you walk into SaveMart just to buy cat food, add on cinnamon rolls and a sweet tea, then get stopped at the door because an employee accused you of stealing an item from an aisle you never even walked down. Absolutely unprofessional conduct that resulted in an entire purchase getting refunded; ironically, the only professional in the entire situation was the 3rd party security guard who stopped us.
EDIT: Just picked up a full gallon of sweet tea (SaveMart had a half gallon), an 8 pack of cinnamon rolls (SaveMart only had a 6 pack), *and* added on a 6 pack of beer, all for only a total of about $3 more. Walmart for the win!

They locked their doors incredibly early multiple days in a row. Wasn’t able to pick up an Amazon package due to this and it was sent back.

Kind of pricey, and a little run down. I always find expired products. The produce and meat tend to be past their prime. The employees are pretty nice, though, and, the location is fairly convenient.

I used to love this store and went in all the time, i moved to a different part of town and hadn't been in for awhile until today. I grabbed a fage yogurt which are my fave and noticed it was really expensive ..like 2x the price I pay at winco. Then I got hamburger meat also 4 dollars more. I had to use the restroom.So I walked over and was met with a very rude lady who told me in a super rude tone (WE DONT HAVE A RESTROOM FOR THE PUBLIC!) I said we'll im shopping here aren't I? The lady at the self checkout was ridiculous as well. I told her I thought it was crazy that I couldn't use the bathroom. And she went and told a security guard on me.! Who was very nice and said have a good day ma'am. So I get home and my 3 dollar yogurt had mold on top and was expired..i think I'll go to Raley's...

deli needs more work. very awful experience Only thing that was great was the self checkout lady she was only person with great customer service and the guard in entrance. Prob just gunna stick to walmart or raileys from Now On

This is definitely my favorite "go to" store. Visiting this particular location multiple times a week (3+ weekly). The employees are always nice, welcoming & helpful.
It is not one of the chains "better" locations, but I will say: the cleanliness inside makes up for the odd, or at times peculiar things taking place in the parking lot. 😂 🤷♀️

I have lived in Reno for 50 years and have been shopping at Albertsons, now Savemart for a long time. Tonight I've decided not to shop at the one on Keystone due to very poor, rude customer service by one particular employee.
My husband and I were in the self checkout line and needed to use a few different methods to pay. So it declined the first card due to not enough on the card. The woman watching the check stand was 5'10 about, weighing over 200 pounds, long wavy hair and didn't offer any help. I asked her if we could do split tenders, she barked at me very rudely, check stand only. She was beyond unfriendly. I feel just because it's not the best area of town, she judges everyone who comes in. So we proceeded to put away some of the food in the cart and left. As we were leaving, she called the security guard over to talk about us. We did nothing. Unfortunately I did not get her name but she needs a different job.
