HAS DIESEL: Conveniently located and intermediately truckable for a 16-footer. Satisfies something greatly that I don’t like to advertise. The cashier was very calm and polite. It does have an exaggerated version of gas station taquitos and hot dogs: I tasted that “quality.” Well, I had lunch while pumping gas so I made it in time for my destination. Worked out well despite not my healthiest lunch.

After paying $2.00 for air, the air pump doesn't work and actually seems to be taking air out of my tires. The station is completely aware of this and says that they are not allowed to put a sign on it that the pump is broken and have had many complaints. They also ask you to call the phone number of the third party on the machine to get your money back, while the machine sits on their property. This is an unfortunate series of events where a business is actually creating a public nuisance and endangerment of someone actually getting a flat tire because they want to keep collecting money on their machine that doesn't work properly. Money, money, money. Your safety on the road......I guess that's your problem. Would love to see this on an episode of American Greed. Now that I had flat tires, I went to the new Chevron gas station at the Nat Cafe at Damonte and Veterans which gives FREE air and has cheaper gas....Galena Shell lost the opportunity to do the right thing, and has lost a local customer forever.....We will never forget.

Clerk NOT open 24 hrs, pumps are. No late night beers or munchies here, usually close at 11 but that's not firm, sometimes sooner.

Always the slowest fill in Reno. If you like just hanging out while it takes 15 min to fill a tank, this place is perfect. (That is if you find a pump that's not broken down)

Quality/Quantity - Good, clean, and organized.6 double sided pumps, never a wait.Decent convenience store selection.Also has diesel for those that need it. Atmosphere - Open 24 hours.Easy in and out.Drive thru car wash (weather permitting). Service - Excellent, 5 stars.Plenty of gas pumps.All stations had squeegees and paper towels.Team was friendly, although I am a self-service kind of person. Price - Above average, but that is the cost of service and convenience! Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1907 with 14,000+ stations and growing. This industry has so many M&A that I can't keep up with who owns what...

Nice clean store, friendly cashier's.I absolutely hate the pumps!!!!Let me swipe my card and get gas! What's with the fifty prompts just to get gas? Would be fine if it was fast but it not. If it wasn't for nice employees would give less stars.

21 years I've been coming to this station. Today was the last day because of your rude power hungry dog of a manager. I've been on a first name basis with everyone in that store since I was a child. I look forward to chatting with the staff and Lori on Monday's but whoever the "boss" lady is need some attention. Shes barking orders at children and kicked out some ancient old lady because she didn't want a mask. Get real, it's a gas station and an expensive one at that. We come here because it's home.

The Galena Shell gas station and convenience store is located near the corner of Mt. Rose Highway and Wedge Parkway in South Reno, in the Raley's Shopping Center. The store is always super clean, the staff are friendly and courteous, and they have a nice selection of drinks and other snacks. Gas prices are high everywhere it seems these days and the Galena Shell is well within reason of those inflated prices right now. They do close around 11 pm and are open around 5 am. Good spot to stop if you need gas or some type of drink or something to snack on.

Conveniently located in the shopping center I frequent. Gas prices average for name brand stations. Too many questions about wanting a car wash, and joining rewards. Clean surroundings.

My husband stopped in to get a cup of water and the cashier charged him 60 cents for the ice I couldn't believe it. So I'm letting everyone know that maverick charges 27 cents for a new cup and if you bring the same cup in it's always free. I have never heard of someone charging for ice. I can understand charging for the cup but ice come on people that's crazy.

The pumps at this place are horrible. Half the time they won't work, the other half, they're slow enough to be pumping molasses.
