I've NOT had a great review!
I've asked owner to reply before I posted with NO RESPONSE! .
This could easily have been solved with communications but we have to resort this way just so we get action, so your talk is cheap.becase no communications on your part.
Your technician said my evap problem was a hose for $709. 18 days later your representative doesn't recognize me says I'm lucky he's not charging me to ready diagnose something that he was incapable of diagnosing correctly, $230.00 I need a 510 hose let's get to today I was just told it needs a $2,000 computer you should have fixed it before I posted this cuz I'm not going to stop here dude

Spent 3k on repairs. Questioned them on why they tried to sell me a new engine instead of fixing my thrust bearing. Larry Yarborough cussed me out as well as screaming at me about his sick wife?
Con artists and bad actors. They probably chane oil and pump gas ok. I just wouldn't trust them to turn a wrench on your car!

Accurate & current contact information online, quick response when you call-even when they're busy, friendly, patient, and informative customer service(I had several questions, all of which were kindly & patiently answered), flexible appointment booking- including same day, reasonable prices, old school 'honk for service' option-honk and they'll pump your gas for you. And for no extra charge!
Above & beyond customer service from Shawn!
Will most definitely be back for any needed services! =)

You may pay less initially, but your car problems won't get fixed. Spent lots of money here considering I still have all same and worse car issues now. Cannot trust that they actually do the work which is invoiced. Not good value for time or money.

Have been going to the Sierra Car Care on California for a while now and they have always gone above and beyond to help my little Subaru. They are reasonably priced and I appreciate that they are a local business. Another thing that maybe isn't always considered, but important to me especially as a woman, is I really appreciate being seen and heard. Sometimes shops can be very dismissive and condescending, but I appreciate how the mechanics are always communicative and it feels that they really are trying to help rather than just moving the transaction along. I feel comfortable asking questions even if they may seem annoying, but that is important I want to be an active participant in my car care, so thank you. This is what builds brand loyalty!Also, a very big thank you to Sean or Shawn for helping me out today. I got really anxious as this isn't my usual shop, but he really helped me out and listened to my concerns. I appreciate his time, knowledge and expertise.

These were the nicest, friendliest and most helpful mechanics i've ever been to! They were very booked up, but help us with everything we needed and any questions we asked. Shawn let us have our car parked at their place during the weekend while we looked for a place to fix it. Would reccomend this place to anyone in Reno.

My last review is strangely missing. So I'll write a new one.I want to begin with the fact that you should definitely support this company. Just NEVER this location. Go to the California or 7th Street locations. They will take care of you.The main manager here named Robb, has screwed me and my family over personally on a vehicle repair that was thousands of dollars. Vehicle does not function properly to this day. He has also royally ate a job for the company I work for and we now refuse to do any business here.He is a man child that will try to weasel his way out of any situation that doesn't benefit him. The owners of the franchise are lovely people and I do not know how they let this continue. Do yourself a favor and visit the other locations instead. I hate to give this company a bad review, and the guys that work for him do not deserve it, but as long as he is the manager of that location it will stay as close to zero as possible.

I had been asked to take one of my company's vehicles to get smog. Sierra Car Care & Tire Center was right there and took care of me so quickly and easily! And the people were nice and professional!

We were passing through Reno on our way to a family wedding in Idaho over Memorial Day weekend when our alternator decided it was done. Given the holiday weekend it was difficult to find anyone who would take us in for same day service. The team at Sierra Car Care not only fit us in to their already full schedule, but provided us with recommendations of things we could do with our kids while we waited, and completed the repair the same day so we could continue our trip to the wedding! I can’t say enough good about our experience. A sincere THANK YOU to the entire crew!

I cannot say enough good things about the hospitality shown here. Shawn and the whole team were super easy to work with.I was in Reno for a short trip and started to hear a grinding sound when starting my vehicle. I got it to Sierra right as the shop was closing and they stayed 30 min after to help identify the issue.They kept me in the loop throughout the whole process and were very knowledgeable. The issue turned out to be an AC Compressor Issue that we replaced, at a different shop, in Nov.That shop had not completed the job correctly and Sierra was able to not only fix it within the warranty but fix a few additional items that were wrong.Highly recommend the shop, great people to work with. Only qualm is the labor cost was on the higher end, especially for Reno, but I happily overlooked it as they helped me in a difficult situation.Great place! Thank you!

Whats better than paying an extra 40 cents per gallon? Having the pump blare advertisements at you the entire time. These whippersnappers are real pushy with their commercials!I tell ya, this made my colon spasm to the point I didn't even notice my loose stools!Add a star for canopy and lack of line.All in all a neat overpriced gasoline and commercials shack. Good place to buy a little gas if you're on your way to fill up somewhere else.
