No shopping carts by entrance, people (who told me they always have to do this) have to look around parking lot for one? Don't get that, so no cart I only grabbed what I could hold, yup no baskets to be found near entery doors either, guess they only want you to buy what you can hold, was a disappointment

THE LOCATION REVIEW: the plum location got new owners and all the vegan options this store once had (that always sold out fast mind you) they removed. Tired of going to a million different stores for my family.
STORE BRAND REVIEW:
First Street Lawn & Leaf Bags, ive been buying for YEARS, yes they became thiner but still was the best unfortunately they started to leak and break more&more and now they are completely unusable 100% of the time. Faulty bottom seal with multiple boxes.
I Don't trust their in-store brand any longer. Costco it is.

Average prices with absolutely terrible utilization of check out lanes.
15 people waiting to check out? 2 cashiers is probably enough for that.
Have 50 items? No one will stop you from using the express lane. It's the same stupid story whenever I visit.
Update! It's now 12/2024 and things are worse than ever. Lines getting longer and slower. Why are there NEVER enough cashiers here? Don't plan on making it a quick trip if you visit here.

KEY ME KIOSK
My wife and I used the key kiosk from 365 E Plumb Ln, Reno, NV 89502, To make a copy of our house key.
The first key copy charges you 6-8$. But after that it's 15-20$ a key.
What's makes it more unfortunate is that the key DOES NOT work well at all.
The teeth did not get carved decently.
I have to jiggle it for 5 minutes.
I get so frustrated trying to open my door. The overall experience what's not worth the money nor the time.
Better to use a local lock smith that way you support a local business and you'll get a key that actually works! 💪

The WORST experience of my life. I was doing 2 huge instacart orders. 3 carts of very heavy stuff and some small things. I had it all organized. Even flipped so the cashier could ring it up easily. Sharnelle, I think her name was. She was very rude. Mixed up my orders because I wasn't putting them in the cart fast enough. Told me she had a line when no on else was behind me. Luckily another cashier saw this and asked if I needed help. I was shaking and I am not one to get upset. Please do something about this. It was on 10/3 around 1:30pm register 5.

Today i went to smart & final at 365 east plumb Lane store #585. Took my fold up cart for Groceries. Got all my groceries paid for them,then i left the store,standing at the bus stop,the cashier that wait on me,comes running out the store yelling at me that i had the store fold up cart. Basically.she Accused me of stealing a cart that belong to me. I told come check my because it had my name on it,i had a sticker from target on there. I brought it from target about ten years.But i was accused of stealing it smart & final.the cashier said she was only doing what she was told to do. Very Embarrassing. To be yelled at and being accused of stealing!

I asked this employee named Jiovanni I needed help with a cask of chuck roll and knuckles. And was very helpful and polite. As he proceeded to put both cases in my car. I will be back because of this young gentleman.

Found everything easily, all my shopping went smoothly until checkout with Theresa. She was rude with an attitude. I didn’t pick her to work there, if she doesn’t enjoy it or it’s too hard for her (which it seems to be), don’t take it out on the customers.
